What encourages you to Tunnel/Camp?

I play mainly survivor main but switch between both killer/survivor.

I was recently thinking about certain actions that survivors will do that will basically trigger a killer to tunnel/camp. (Some killers do this all the time)

As a general rule I don’t Tunnel/camp but I hate (My opinion) when survivors Flashlight camp when I am about to pick up a downed survivor. I’ll literally think right that’s it your out of the game.

anyone else have actions that trigger them to tunnel/camp?

I don’t particularly favour camping but understand sometimes survivors get what they deserve.

DS makes me tunnel but I don't really camp.

I don't tunnel or camp. I don't let my emotional state tilt me in a game.

I think camping and tunneling is more of a "I'm easily upset by things in my life and this is how I cope with it" sort of thing.

When they make you a rush of gens and hide like rats, I don't camp / tunnel until there are no more gens. The worst part comes later in the chat when they tell you that you have camped at the end of the game after doing rush gen and hiding like sewer rats. Very but that very few survivors understand and they don't mind the camp / tunnel if there are no gens at stake, sometimes it's nice to find people who understand you

    No, not really.

But I think you've outed yourself as an example of what I'm talking about.

Nope, but to say that something anything in this game doesn't get you just a twinge of the eyebrow that's unbelievable.

Oh wow. That's something I've never seen. I thought the trend was letting your real life issues get to you and let it out on a video game.

You can see how furious and tilted a killer is after they spent 4 gen repairs of time chasing you through loops.

I think it's a weak mental state to allow yourself to tunnel.

It's like taking the bait and arguing on forums and social media. Weak mental states pushed into a materialized attitude / action toward people.

Out of the top of my head and I might forget something, I'd tunnel:

    • Keys.
    • Flashlights, if they actually know what they're doing, because they can become problematic, especially late game.
    • Unhooked survivors, if they get stubborn bodyblocking with BT. Generally, it doesn't happen because I don't camp and I go for the unhooker anyway. However, if it's a fast save, I understand bodyblocking immediately. If they keep trying their darnest to take a hit even once their rescuer got enough distance to get to a loop, then you can bet I'll grant their wish once I waited out BT.
    • Tbaggers and click spammers, if they're bad at looping (you want the attention, you get the attention).
    • Very immersed players.
    • Good loopers whenever I catch them out of position.
    • Sandbaggers and farmers.

I almost never camp, even if it's endgame, because I don't care about securing one kill as a consolation prize, or hoping in excessive altruism. However, I'll (proxy) camp you if you did something really egregious (for example, the Claudette with OoO sabotaging my hooks, then gesturing at me while aura reading and running to the corner of the map).

I play fair but as soon as someone is t-bagging me I tunnel and camp that person. Also I write down names on survivors that t-bag, does not matter if they do it in a game where I am survivor or killer. If I see them again they will not have a fun game they will be tunneld, camped or if I'm survivor I will not help that person in any way. They can stay on that hook I won't help.

I don't ever tunnel or camp. I don't see the point it is boring and not fun for everyone involved.

I really can't understand the idea of getting upset by someone pressing crouch repeatedly. It doesn't actually do anything to you. This whole list thing you do is mental as ######### too.

At the end of the day it is a game. Stop taking everything so seriously.

If I'm sent to the bad map I feel like I should get one of them out of the game quickly.

If I see somebody attempting to reach the hook, I'll wait for him and try to force a trade. If I'm in a bad chase and hear an unhook, I'll go back. If unhooked person is close to me I'll attack him first. If unhooker runs to a strong loop, I'll switch to unhooked person. Jumping into the locker = grab. If nobody is nearby and I have no info, where to go (too many gens / too far to patrol), I'll pick a person with DS up. If I get DSed, person without DS is now my priority target (I'm not gonna chase them if I get an easier target, but switch instantly if I catch them in a bad spot).

Late/endgame if necessary bc I don't really think it's a big deal at that point anyway.

If someone teabags constantly, clicks, vault spams etc I'm not going to freak out and throw the match to facecamp them but I'll take it as permission to use more unpleasant tactics on them if I think it'll benefit me.

Wouldn't they have stuff like No Mither, Unbreakable, Sabo Hooks and stuff? It'd be pretty hard to kill them. Plus you can always bring Franklin's or play hag.

Generly only when it's strategicly sound

If someone's bm's and makes me miss a lot i do get tilted and say i'm going to facecamp them but by the time i get to the hook i've calmed down

I don't let stuff others do influence how I play like that. I guess I don't really tunnel much at all, but I will probably camp at endgame. Not in their face to actually kill them, but to make sure I can get hits, downs and more hooks if possible.

I was worse at it when I started, I general switch off if I cant catch someone. Look for the weaker chase and it's funny seeing some survivors get offended and run after you to try and get you to chase them. But I will camp under 2 conditions. Gates are open.. well you are on hook so I have a chance to get rescuers. Or if you were tbagging at the end for no reason and I got you.
