No new Tome later then?
so is it late yet again? or are you just not saying its coming out to be annoying, which no offense it is. i understand you wanna hide details but not this late, the PTB showed us already so share the date?

They never announced a release date. It can't be late if no time is given.
Even if it is today its not even the regular time they release thats hours from now.

so they dont know if they will finish in time to give a date then, it shouldnt be hard to say if its today or not. and yes i know itd be hours still but thats not the point, we cant all just sit on phones constantly checking if theyre putting it out or not...

I'm sure they know they just don't tell us when updates are happening usually.
They wait until the moment it's updating so they can share accurate information/avoid saying it's coming only for Microsoft, Sony or Steam to have an issue delaying it.
You don't have to check all day check in 3-5 hours if it's not out its likely not today.

You don't have to check your phone. When you get home and actually be able to start and play dbd you will see it anyways if it's there or not

I wouldn't rely on them. They also "leaked" a 2019 Christmas event which disappointed a lot of people since that was fake.
They also "leaked" that the devs are hiding ranks which didn't happen.

I'd be surprised if it didn't come today, for several reasons. Or at least, I expect the new patch to come today, and it's possible that the Tome/Rift will open either at the same time or follow a day later.
Firstly, and most obviously, they almost always release updates on Tuesdays at 11am ET if at all possible. Secondly, as I recall, the number of days until the Rift closed shown on the PTB started at about 84, which would put the 70-day mark, or the official opening, around today or tomorrow. Thirdly, the tweet DeadByBHVR put out yesterday reads to me like the sort of thing they would post around a day in advance, to hype up community excitement. And finally, the Fog Whisperers have been given access to stream the new patch/Doctor update in advance of its release, at 9am ET today, and it seems more likely to me that the devs would allow a 2-hour advance preview rather than a 26-hour or one-week preview.
Of course, that's just my theory. We'll find out the truth pretty soon, in any case!

I remembered Paulie Esther mentioning it, but not the explicit details. I just went back and rewatched the video, and my mistake - it's not the patch that the Fog Whisperers get exclusive access to stream, it's the cinematic trailer for the second Tome. So apologies if I got your hopes up 🙁 I will post the link here when it goes live, though, if you're still interested in seeing it.
