What exactly did you do to Freddy?!
There is nothing mentioned in the patch notes. Is this a bug? He somehow is not able to do anything while placing snares until the snare is fully activated. Feels like the delay on doctor after a shock attack. This feels totally different now. Anyone else noticed that? Can we revert that please?

I'd be willing to bet it's an intended shadow nerf. They've been tagged multiple times for comment, and have ignored it. Usually a good sign. Survivors complained, so they nerfed him.

There's so many pallets in the game you can get trapped at and snare lusted. Can't dodge the bright obvious red snares when you are stuck looping a car or something and will take a hit if you move off, so then you eat the snares and take a hit eventually anyways.

Man imagine complaining about a balanced killer. The red snared are easy to dodge, the only people who get affected by them are mindless loopers who don't look what's in front of them or the people who don't even wake up.

To be fair - when I face Freddy I don't wake up either. I just look at the bright red things on the ground and it magically registers in my big boy brain "don't step on those".

I doubt it, all I see from your posts is crying about ruin and killer nerfs. There's a reason you see freddy played like 1/3 of the game at red ranks. Same reason you see huntress another 1/3 of the time (carried by hitboxes 2x the size of the hatchets). He is easy as hell to play.
You don't even need to M1 to put people to sleep, just keep running around the same loop and spamming snares and you will get hits eventually; it's just a matter of if the other survivors are pounding out the gens or not in the meantime, and if you can afford to do it.

I play as freddy a lot (I wouldn't call him my main thou) and he's essentially a powerless m1 killer when you are awake.
The main thing I see survivors do against freddy is not wake up, which benefits me and strengthens me

Yes, he was the highest kill rate killer in the game before his slight nerfs because he was such a balanced killer. It's not like he can shut down almost every single loop in the game by holding M2 as he walks.
It's just now he can't slap on two add-ons and get a ton of generator pressure for free.

This is how you can point out someone who is both A) New to the game, and B) your typical one-sided survivor main.
Apparently this person doesn't know you can be a survivor main, and play a lot of killer. Imagine there being two modes available at the main menu screen, with the ability to choose. :O

Stats aren't realiable, even Peanits said that.
Also Freddy shuts down loops if you let him, the red snares are very bright and easy to see as a survivor. You have no excuse if you get hit by one of them if you are tunnel visioning on where freddy is. Also killers like spirit and billy are stronger than Freddy, but sure lets complain about the recently reworked killer because survivors like you can't adapt to any different situation and want to mindless loop without much thinking.
Also those two add ons you are probably talking about have been nerfed, Forever Freddy is gone.

Nope. Ruin was a crutch. I am a killer main. I know who the BS killers are, and don't feel much accomplishment winning with them.
She really is, just aim in their general direction and the hatchet hits half the time. She probably has the strongest chase in the game next to spirit. Her only weakness is mobility. You can throw over half the loops in the game. Why do you think every streamer mains her? Because she is weak? Lol.

You can place the snares in a way there is literally no way to avoid them other than taking a hit, or moving off the tile. On many maps, you won't make it to the next tile without taking a hit. I am sorry if you can't figure out how to do that.

I have tested. I can confirm there seems to be a cooldown reminscent of the Doctor in the PTB, where after he shocked, he couldn't do anything but walk for 3 seconds.

They do shadow nerfs all the time.
If you want to mess with a nurse, just stand under a pallet and drop it when she teleports 99.9999999% of the time she will be stunned.

I played him yesterday once and i thought it was a lag, because i got do nothing while putting snares down. It felt laggy.

Almost certain this is a bug.
This might sound weird but I loved how "Smooth" playing Freddy felt. You could place snares in the middle of a chase without slowing down (Although they later made placing snares kill bloodlust. Doc loses bloodlust zapping people so fair enough.) and hit people, etc.
Like it just felt not clunky. I doubt they'd nerf him without putting it in patch notes.

I wish they wouldn't shadow nerf stuff. They do this stuff alot, nerd stuff without mentioning and waiting till last minute to he like, oh ya we are changing this tomorrow.

This is a bug my dude. This dev team has never been shy about giving us unnecessary and way over the top nerfs; if this was a nerf they would have told us. Also you gotta remember: when was the last time a major patch like this DIDN'T break something. Now how long will it take to get fixed is a different story entirely.

That's honestly worse IMO.
That just means nobody on the dev team ever once tried Freddy on the current build to see if their spaghetti code had messed with him.
Like I can understand not being able to try every permutation of Killer power, perks, and etc. But snares are part of Freddy's base kit.
Just playing him would reveal the bug; a significant bug which should be mentioned in the patch notes (like Legion's FF crashing the game randomly was a while ago).

I think u mean "you don't play as a killer I could easily wreck by looping around a vehicle over and over" if Freddy isn't a "actual" killer could u explain y and name some killers that are. Cause I can think of better and worse killers pretty easily.

A lot of inconsistencies have come up with the recent patch, some kind of visual update or something. I imagine it affected Freddy placing snares too (and other killers placing objects).

Knowing the devs it’ll be a nerf they “forgot” to mention. After all the amount of survivors who cry about him because they had to use a few brain cells to play against him instead of just looping was too much.
