I’m genuinely done with DBD
I hate to make this post because I know most people dislike “goodbye” posts. But I love DBD. It’s hard to admit I’m no longer having fun. Besides, the CoD series and RS, this is the only other game I’ve invested 1500 hours into.
The thing is, I’m tired of feeling limited with only a select few killers against good survivors. Sick of playing nurse. Sick of the balance issues and the devs taking forever to fix simple issues. I do feel like I got my $ worth of course though.
Good luck and enjoy playing if you still do. Once you reach red ranks as killer, the game can be frustrating. I don’t enjoy survivor because it’s basically nascar, gen simulator. Boring. But if people enjoy it that’s good.

In before "get gud" or folks justifying how some tier 3 killer is good "in the right hands" or how "smart play" can beat tryhard swf with comms every time.

It's incredible that the devs doesn't want more killers to be viable. Because of that, the game will die down bit by bit until it no longer can be supported.

Or you know just pick whatever killer your want and have fun with it. Not every game needs to be a sweaty 4k tryhard run.

This is what can happen if you spend too much time focusing on rank. For me, if I worry too much about pips and rank progression it does get old. I try out a wide variety of builds, playing both killer and survivor, trying to utilize all characters etc. It keeps it a little more interesting. Enjoy your break, hopefully you'll rejoin us in the Fog.

How is it childish by definition? Avoiding something that grinds your gears for the sake of your psychological health is pretty reasonable and thus exactly the opposite of the term "childish" - at least in my book.

Deathgarden is an awful game and will be completely dead within 6 months. It's already down to 500 average active users within a month of it's relaunch. That's on top of all the advertising and sponsoring they did. Hopefully they realize it's complete and utter garbage and just let it die.

Honestly, "goodbye" posts have a lot of relevance because they tell GOOD devs what they're doing critically wrong, especially when long-term players submit them.
And yeah. Basically, Killer matchmaking should be individualized per Killer. If you're in the Red Ranks because of your Spirit mastery, you have simply LOST the ability to play over half of the roster with any measure of success. You're essentially punished for having done well.

Your gonna miss it after a few weeks and reinstall.. when new killer comes.. i understand if the game play is stagnant for you.. i dont stay in red ranks for the very same reason billy nurse spirit every round makes it boring.. but i play this game casually and its fun

Honestly I’m pretty done with the game as well, and I’m also pretty sad to say that as soon as I read the OP’s comment, I knew all the “get better”s or “you’ll be back lol”s would be the next things I read. I love the game, but this community is legitimately awful and it’s hard to find simple supportive and nice players. “Well you don’t have to play sweaty if it bothers you so much” or “ looks like someone’s salty” is just so sad to read. I keep playing because of the fun and cool people I can meet along the way, but it’s annoying that you have to expect a roast session post-game on the killer or survivor side and even in this forum. Sorry everyone, but dead by daylight has one of the most disgusting communities I’ve ever witnessed and I’ve played MOBAs.

The did advertising on twitch and stuff like that by sponsoring people to play it. I was right though. The game was effectively dead within 6 months and had virtually no playerbase. The 30 day average is 41.2 players online at any given time.
