Hiding all game as wraith
Comments

Yeah but you might as well do it as anyone else (other than freddy)
No real point in hiding because youll stop the survivors from getting BP and you wont get any BP. I mean its not like theyre going to kill you lol

There's every point in hiding I don't want to deal with bs like dead hard

…….You gonna get dead harded.....while youre afk? I mean even if youre scared of that youll have to hit them first lol.
Unless its one of those spooky no mither gamers

I'm confused. Is there something in the rift that rewards killers from hiding for an entire match? if so, that's pretty stupid.

You don’t get additional exp for longer games, hence why this bloke is thinking of afk farming.

I had a game where I outplayed a rank one at a loop able pallet one of those ones where you can just keep going round and round against certain killers so anyway he went over the pallet I was about to hit and he dead harded to a that woodland shack with the upstairs and window which extended the chase for about a minute.
It's a perk I loathe it rewards mistakes.

So it does work?

I got one AFK wraith yesterday, but tought he was just afk and not just letting the computer farm for him. Didn't know they would earn xp while in cloak mode all game. That might become a problem to the game!

Really? Don't you miss out on a lot of exp for no hooks, downs, chases and hits? What's the point of farming XP if you don't enjoy the game enough to actually play it. Move on to something you do enjoy.

I mean, I played for like 8 hours yesterday and am at level five in the rift. I dont play killer much and I dont afk farm when I do, but if it takes that long to just go up to level five, I can understand why people would want to do it. And afk farming would give xp towards the rift, devotion level, and shards. You miss bloodpoints if you don't chase, hook, etc., but that's separate from what the rift and tome need.

AFKing is reportable.

I believe those actions give you extra blood points but not exp

Indeed. XP is rewarded based on time spent in match, and it maxes out at about 600 XP. There's a slight bonus for getting emblems, but it's so inconsequential that it's not worth worrying about.
I can't blame people for AFKing to help grind the Rift. For the previous Rift, I did Totem Protector Bubba. I can't do that anymore with New Ruin, so if I need to grind XP for the Rift, I'll just half-ass Doc walking around occasionally hitting survivors with Static Blast or something. It's almost as effortless as AFKing, but I'm still actually playing... kinda.

I would go find the wraith and then I be teabagging the whole time until they either hit me or play. I just want to enjoy the game instead playing hide and seek with the wraith.

It's not. Those reports just get discarded do your research. Especially in this climate people can't be blamed for doing it once everyone does th first set of challenges it would be wise to play survivor and get yourself killed for quick games to get more rift xp

Nah fam, BHVR's new AI killer testing.
2 -
Yeah I do this as wraith as well so survivors dont get any BP
Opening the exit gates on them is funny as well they get that much less.
I get alot of hate mail when I kill someone so I guess people have more fun when they never see the killer at all. That's why I started
1 -
Not sure why you'd want to do this, but for the sake of answering your question, yes it does.

Play for 2-3m and then go afk or u will get a lot of reports

It's not bannable so they can't do anything it's essentially a free match if people report then it tells me they are man-babies touching themselves to make believe rankings

Isn't it crazy? I get hate mail for playing the game, but not when I just let survivors do gens and leave. It makes me think they really would prefer a gen repair sim with no killer slowing them down.

Yes and it doubles as easy depipping to get to those yellow ranks. Also, prevents survivors from farming BPS from you. Triple win!

Please avoid encouraging an unsportsmanlike conduct, thank you.

Just to be clear, unsportsmanlike conduct means you can get reported and punished if you do it constantly, so please avoid doing it and suggesting it.
