You don't need to finish Rift/Tome in on day at the risk of good play
Just had a lobby where two players said they were on chest challenge so one left, when I asked why since it doesn't have to be in one challenge the other said "it's quicker if I focus on it."
Cool, so instead of playing normally and just grabbing chests as you see them you are going to be useless doing gens or unhooking people while you run from one end of the map to the other... then complain tomorrow that the tome was too short.

Life is unpredictable. you don't know when your free time to play DBD is going to vanish.

With the high survivor queue times, I cannot blame them with focusing on challenges when they finally get in.

I know I hate when players tank a game for these challenges. Played a game last night where guy must of being doing a hook sabotage challenge. He did no gennys. Even sabotaged the hook right next to me as Im doing a genny and waving him over to help. Then once he got hooked he suicides on first hook. #########. Thanks for the help teammate.

I mean, I got a 4K because two Survivors wanted to get their Unhook Challenge ASAP. They did not even get any progress for it, because neither of those two Geniusses was running BT...
But yeah, people should take it easy. They have so much time for the Challenges and it is not really worth to throw games, just to have them finished after two days and 12 days left until Level 2 releases.

Yep, I find killer is so much easier to "win as," during the first few days of a new tome. Players ignoring gens, racing each other for unhooks although it is super funny they didn't even run Borrowed if they're gonna make stupid unhooks.
Guess I'll enjoy my killer games until it settles down again.
