is survivor easier than killer, part 2...
The other discussion was moved to the media lounge subforum...not sure why as I don't stream...maybe because I used a streamer's video?
Anyway, it was pretty interesting to read different responses in the discussion so I wanted to post it again but without the streamers video so it doesn't get moved to the media lounge.
In the current state of the game, is it easier to play as survivor or killer?

That really honestly depends. It's definitely easier to play a level 1 survivor than a level 1 killer

Yes, survivors only have to do 5 generators to complete their objective meanwhile killers have to hook each survivor 3 times to get a 4k ( thats if they want the max amount of points they can get or if the survivors dont suicide on their first hook.)
Also survivors have perks and items to help increase the speed at which they repair a generator meanwhile killers have monstrous shrine( one of the worst perks ever.
Plus the majority of maps are survivor sided where generators are twenty thousand miles awat from the killer at the beginning.(haddonfield, Ormond , any redwood maps, coldwind farm maps. etc.)

Ease of play in terms of winning goes like this imo...
SWF -> Killer -> Solo survivor

Both really only require you to learn loops. Some killers are easier than survivor, others are much higher depending on the killer's power.

Way too easy. Playing as solo feels way less frustrating now, but still it is really no challenging though. And playing the killer now? Yikes.

Plus as a survivor its super easy to rank up, you dont even have to escape to pip up. Meanwhile i get an entity displeased if a sacrifice 2 survivors.

Yes, as rank 1 killer rank 2 survivor, I put WAY less effort as survivor than the one I put as killer.

Starting out as a fresh Survivor is harder than starting out as a fresh Killer imo. Depends on the killer of course, but anyone can M1 survivors who don't know where to go or what to do to avoid it.

It's easier to play survivor for multiple reasons. You've got SWF meaning you can have a team and communication. There's only one "opponent" to think about, that being the Killer. There's pnly one easy-to-complete objective. A survivor has plenty of ways to get out of a situation. I.E Unbreakable letting you get up without help.
What's more stressful, however, is an entirely more subjective thing. I've had a lot more stress playing low-rank solo survivor lately than I ever did as Killer. But then every game as Killer is generally more stressful than playing as survivor.
