Right? I thought that was just me. When the first rift was active I was shooting through the tiers, but now, it feels like that's been halved. The progress feels way slower.

I came back to the game when the first rift had only 30 days left and I got to high tiers eventhough I wasn't really playing much but this time I'm early to the party and moving up tiers slow as molasses

If I want a certain cosmetic, I will just buy it when they become available in the store. I have other games I'm playing, don't want to play DBD 24/7 like I had to with the first tome.

I got to four yesterday with about six challenges completed. My math says I’ll be at least Tier 12 after completing Tome II Level 1.

I played for like 8 hours yesterday and I'm at level 4. Survivor challenges are obnoxious, with everyone playing differently to get them done. For example, I always make saves. Some people just hide and do gens the entire game, I've always been one to actually, you know, help my team. I set the hook save challenge and just played normally. Checked back two hours later and I didn't have a single one because it's all anyone cares about, even if it means the games are lost.
