Hey, does anyone have a quick summary of the stream? I'm away from my PC for the moment and I'm unable to watch it

Let's see: New Ruin is staying, toolboxes are being looked at, no secondary objective for survivors in the works, considering encouraging survivors to interact with totems, no reworks for survivor meta perks, improving lesser perks (mostly survivor perks), hook tech is being removed, maps are still being reworked and may become smaller, killers should expect to lose 2-3 gens within 4 minutes, tome challenge difficulty won't increase from tier-to-tier, and misc.

Oh, they're also going to reduce the synergy between killer slowdown perks so things like PGTW, Thanatophobia, and Dying Light won't work well together because survivors find doing their one and only objective boring.

Wait, in what way would they reduce the synergy? Did they say something about how they want to do that?

No they were really vague about it. They hinted that it might be similar to how the new ruin prevents PGTW/Overcharge/Surge from being used because it disables the damage generator option.

This has to have something to do with paving the way to slowing down gens in some way. No other explanation would make sense to me.

for example right now ruin's automatic regression makes it imposible to use pop goes the weasel, by locking out ability to damage generators. other slow down perks will be reworked like that in the future, they might make things like thano and sloopy or dying light not work together.

Ok so no stacking I guess? I feel like they should just add a cap for how much debuff effects can stack with each other and that's it, instead of removing the stacking entirely, if that ends up being their plan.
Still curious how they would want to nerf the synergy between any of the perks that slow down repair speed and PGTW though. Cause survivors repairing gens slower can't somehow cancel out PGTW.

I mean, they will slow down gens indirectly when or if they make maps smaller. The smaller a map, the better a killer can keep survivors off of gens.

They flat out said they aren't looking at changing gen speeds. The only thing they're looking at is toolboxes.

They specifically said that one motivation for the Ruin change was to reduce the synergy of generator slowdown perks. Especially the strongest combination Ruin + PGTW. They also hinted (by being vague as always), that they could do the same to other slowdown perks as well.

Can somebody tell me what perks the devs meant when they said "there are some other perks in the game that do a pretty good job of affecting the beginning of the game?"
