Rework Borrowed Time pls
Look,
I dont want it to be nerfed, it should be a useful anti tunnel perk, but the way it works atm is just unbalanced.
Scenario: I hook Survivor A, turn arround and spot survivor B. Surv B loops a pallet and gets eventually hit. He runs to survivor A and unhooks. The time i arrive at the hook I want to punish survivor B for doing this unsafe save, but survivor A who should get out of there just bodyblocks me until i hit him. This gives survivor B an easy time to get away. And Survivor A doesnt stop there, no he goes for another body block because he has DS active.
So this is how these Perks are played in Red ranks especially.
My Idea: Give the unhooked survivor a 10 second invulnerabillity and a speed boost after being unhooked (like the one you would get if you were hit) no joke add them doing no sounds and let them leave no scratch mark/blood. I dont care as long as it cant be used to bully the killer without any kind of outplay.
Thats just an Idea, but i really think the way it is now its just too abusable. Any other Idea to buff the anti tunnel aspect while nefing the agressive usage welcome.

I mean the only change it should get is it being based on distance so Undetectable doesnt delete it
its meant to counter camping, so it should be distance not TR

that will not happen. BT is an essential perk to counter killers that camp. I’m a killer main, while it does aggravate me when I’m bodyblocked by a BT survivor, just don’t hit them. Go around if you’re wanting the other player. It’s sus when someone wants your attention anyways.

there are many situations where you cant just "walk around them" example would be in a basement situation. Guess ill start bringing green moris with me for this case.

If you need mori's to go along with your basement camping, just lol.

Nice troll. Just in case youre serous and not just unable to read i refere to the situation i mentioned above. Its not about being unable to camp, its about survivors being cocky without possible punishment.

New Borrowed Time:
After unhooking a Survivor, for 15 seconds, any damage taken by the unhooked Survivor will be received by you instead.
Benefits:
- Gets rid of the Undetectable "problem".
- Promotes trying your best to try for a safe unhook rather than an unsafe one, heavily discouraging hook rushing, making it a perk to save in extreme situations.
- DW will no longer be part of the perk, big plus for Legion potentially.
- Stays even truer to the concept of the perk.
Disadvantages:
- None.

If you know it's obviously borrowed time, follow them, count to 15, and then go for the swing. Pretty easy my dude.

Body blocking with borrowed time only works if you allow it to work, all you literally have to do is be patient and not hit the guy that has the endurance status effect or just wait it out and slug him. It's not complicated honestly, it's just a matter of being patient and knowing when to M1 so that you hit your actual target and not the guy that just got saved.

Wow thank you for making the perk useless against campers

Even if borrowed time was token based it would be an improvement. Hook farming and guaranteed safe unhooks everytime could be made more skill based.
Maybe have it work if the killer has a line of sight with the hooked survivor within its otherwise terror radius (if they weren't oblivious) so a insideous bubba would still proc borrowed time as long as there is line of sight with the hooked survivor. This would still make basement bubba possible just that you can't facecamp or borrowed time will always activate if the user has tokens.
Gain 1 token for every 20 seconds someone is on a hook. Max tokens 3

You miss my point. I want the unhooker to be Punished bc he made a really risky unhook. I dont want to tunnel the guy who got hooked. And yeah i can slug him but 15s is more then enough to run to a jungle Gym or shack or what ever there is in reach. Unhooking should be a strategic thing an not i have BT ez. another idea: how about BT only triggering if the hooked person is on hook for at least 15 seconds?

New Borrowed Time:
After the killer has lurked within 32m of a hooked survivor for 10 seconds borrowed time activates. Borrowed time doesn't activate within 5 seconds of the killer hooking a survivor and deactivates once the killer is no longer 32m of a hooked survivor. Unhooking a survivor while borrowed time is active will cause the first hit they take within 15 sec that would put them in the dying state to instead put them in the deep wounds state.
So basically it ticks up like Diversion does so you know when the killer is proxying and is only active while they remain proxying or facecamping. This version is circumventable by not camping or being a [BAD WORD] and juggling the 32m.

Try not camping and you'll find out that BT isn't that big of a detriment to you.

Or if you're a brainlet just wait until BL 1 lmao. It's funny when they back noed which literally impacts the game no matter what survivors do but when it comes to BT and DS: "It's braindead invincibility smh please rework"

Bu-bu-but you can CLEANSE ALL 5 TOTEMS WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE ON HOW MANY WERE CLEANSED BY YOUR TEAMMATES! IT HAS COUNTERS! Unlike BT and DS which both get solved by just not being a d*ck or waiting for the timer to run out. Oh wait

You just need to do bones vs a killer that had 3 perks all game...

70 seconds is almost another gen, not factoring in searching time because searching perks are apparently common now. Doing an extra gen counters noed apparently. The more you know.

For basement stairs, you can body block THEM just as much as they can you. Could use that to wait out the BT timer and possibly down both ppl.

Not all cases can be because of camping. You could see a survivor who is about to hook bomb just as you hook, you hit them because they don't commit till they are hit then hooked boy DH to take the second hit and BT procs.

Wait a second and insure you hit the right person instead of just turning your brain off and pressing m1 as soon as you're off cooldown?

Borrowed time is fine as it is. After you hook someone do a quick surveillance around the hook to make sure there isn't a survivor nearby ( this isn't the same as camping) that way if there is someone about to rush the hook you can hit them before they have a chance.

Borrowed Time is fine as it is.
If your a killer who can delete your terror radius, you can counter play it with that ability.
If your any other killer, hitting somebody with borrowed time on them is really no big deal as you just guaranteed that person has to stop and waste time not doing gens.
If I discovered BT in play, I generally just swat the guy then go back to chasing the rescuer - this effectively guarantees that two people aren't doing gens for half a minute and buys me time.
