Your fortitude is listening to their survivor bias hs truly impresses me, great work

I just watched Space Coconuts breakdown of the stream, and that dude has the biggest Killer bias of any content creator; like wow is it obvious.
This is coming from a killer main, who thinks killers have it really rough right now, and agrees that there may be some degree of dev bias- but I still think that guy is way too far on the one side of the fence.
I hope he is wrong about the toolbox changes though, I hope they nerf them hard, like the repair speed boost needs to go entirely and be replaced by like...skill check bonuses or something. Some effort to it besides holding M2 at least. Also I think the speed of multiple survivors on one gen will need to be toned down some, I think if they did that the game would be in a much better spot...but that is just me, sure someone is going to quote and scream at me again telling me how wrong I am haha.

I remember when @not_Queen said to me: ''And I hope you're okay''
In current situation, nope I'm not okay 😂
Like that's exactly the point of my nick name 😍

I think they rephrased any questions which were longer than about 20 words, and the main reason they did it was so that it would fit on the screen during the stream. However, they made reference at several points to parts of the original questions that weren't on-screen, so I think they probably had the original questions written down in the notes in front of them.
So basically, even though the questions as they were read out on stream were rephrased a lot, I believe the developers who were answering the questions did actually see what was originally asked in full.

You're welcome! I'm glad I could help you out 😊

The second question is referring to Ruin's overall strength as a perk, which takes into account the balance of power and risk mentioned in the first question. Whether Ruin really is as powerful as some other hex perks is debatable, but there's no contradiction there as you seem to be implying.

I try to be as accurate and unbiased as possible in my notes, for exactly that reason - because even though I'm far from the only one who watches the stream or tells others what was in it, I've found that there tends to be a lot of bias in what's repeated. People repeat what they "basically" said on the stream, not what they actually said, and end up misrepresenting the facts, and it turns into a great big game of Chinese Whispers.
For what it's worth, having watched the stream myself, I believe that he is wrong about the toolbox changes, largely because his opinion is based on the assumption that the devs on stream were being deliberately misleading even though he has no real basis for believing that.

Oh he’s still here, I stoped watched his content since he was griping a year ago about the game and talking about how he’s done with the game and doesn’t see the game living if it doesn’t change the way he thinks it needs to change.
sad you have so much crap to spout off but keep coming back to this game :,)

He's always been like that. Stopped watching his videos because his mind is just way too much on the killer side he doesn't even consider survivor perspectives. Take ScottJund for example, 100% a killer main who cares about the survivors experience.

You're so diligent! Thanks for getting back to us with your insights!

"They don’t believe that players would find the gameplay enjoyable with the current Ruin if there weren’t a way of conclusively dealing with it"
Survivors. Not players. Survivors.
"This is unlikely to happen. Hex perks are supposed to be extremely powerful, and this is balanced by their ability to be disabled completely."
By the dev team. Ruin can still be disabled completely, but its not extremely powerful. Or really powerful at all. It's more of a survivor focusing tool at this point. "Ruin? Yep. Guess I'll just keep working on this gen."
Shame.

They are looking at reducing overall map sizes in the future?!
Oh, my..... you have just made this old killer very happy.

I'm not a developer, so I won't be doing anything about map sizes personally, but I agree that it is exciting news!

Fixed it. my bad.

It's all good! 😊

"Lamentable configurations" an interesting choice of words. Could that be a hint of things to come, or another red herring...?

I think that they were just using flowery language to be funny, but by all means, share your theories!

What would that be hinting at? 🤔
