I just love the complains
I didn't visit the forums for one day and the whole dbd community is on fire.
I hopped into some forums to see what's the deal, and everyone kept addressing the tiniest of details that the devs made during the Q&A.
Then, after a bit of meditation, yoga and a bit of visit to the fourth dimension, I came to the conclusion that the community is split to two. The 65% (maybe overestimated) that complain about the ruin/doctor changes, believing that the balance team heavily focuses on the survivors enjoyment rather than all player's and that they heavily focus on buffing them (survivors)
On the other side of the spectrum, there are the 35% Bagging,calm spirits of the community that use logic in order to justify the devs decisions. These kind of people also do one of two things;
Either they make posts to calm everyone down/say their opinion/complain about the 65% of the community's behavior.
Or, they just keep calm, relax and watch the beautiful world of dbd completely on fire. Most of them, while eating popcorn.
So, in which side are you? I'm on the second if you couldn't guess. No, I don't complain about anything, I just state some facts :3

I am on no side. I have my own opinions about what has happened. I admit I was on absolute fire due to the ruin and doctor changes, but it’s amazing what happens when you actually play what is available.
Do I support the dev team? No, they have made some bone headed decisions. Do I like the ruin and doctor changes? Surprisingly, I have enjoyed them. The dev team just needs to start hitting other issues instead of band aid fixes.

I think there's a clear bias in which side the dev team considers when making changes, the dev notes about Ruin and Doc told us that much. Do they actually want survivors to be stronger? I can't really say one way or the other, but it's pretty clear to see who they favour in terms of gameplay quality.
And to be fair, Doc was an overall positive change for killers, after they scrapped the ill conceived 3s lock out and made it a reasonable amount of time, but it was clearly not chosen to be reworked with Killer players in mind.

I am in the 2nd group. Of course I have only been playing hardcore for about a month, 6 months was causally with my kids. I play to have fun, and win or lose for the most part 90% of the time I have a great time.

I'm on the side of balance.
I want this game to be as fair for both sides as possible.
Unfortunately, the devs have shown they are incompetent when it comes to game balance.
So there's really not much else to do except try and push for change (which i don't think will happen).

I’m kind of in the 35%, sometimes I think what the devs do can be dumb, but I never complain or get angry, I just grab some popcorn and watch the madness ensue

Ok, now I'm anger. This is the third time someone said I'm a troll. This post is a "just to hf" post, not a life or death situation. I don't know what "troll" is to you, but for the rest of the universe and dimensions it isn't what I do. So I suggest you two things, either search what troll means or don't use the word troll since you clearly don't know what it means. I won't lie, I was a toned down version of the 65%. I admit I feared the doctor change was bad, but now he is literally one of my favorites. He's the same with quality life changes. At least for me. I remember playing him before the change and scoffed.
I am, however, unappreciative of the ruin change. They should've done more with the change. Because not only did the patch notes come off as heavily biased, but touching just ruin and doctor, then listing 5 survivor unused perks out 6 completely mentioned, were all so poor judgement. So of course i can see the error and miscommunication. I can see the problem that every killer and even survivor is having with these patch notes, stream, etc.
Now, though, I'm like that odd .1%. One of the ones who is both, but trying to keep a steady mind about it.

I know what a troll is. You created two camps.
One camp that is complaining about the changes to Ruin and the appearance of bias in favor of survivors (ie Killers).
The other camp are "The calm spirits of the community" That "use logic to justify the devs' decisions".
Is that second camp supposed to be the survivors? If not, you left out a camp. Are you implying that those that disagree with the devs' decisions are not "using logic", and that this second camp is better than the first camp? Either way, it is insulting to a large group of people. How does that "calm the spirits" of the community? You seem to be giving yourself a lot of credit and putting yourself above everyone else. Yet, look at your angry response. Calm spirit? 🙄

It's hard to use logic in order to justify the devs decisions when they outright say they are doing the changes for survivors, was it a case off bad wording and the patch notes poorly written who can say even in the QnA everything was to favor the survivors.
So how can you use logic to justify what the devs are doing when they are doing it for one side?

So what your saying is that killer's complaining is irrational whereas survivors saying these problems aren't an issue is reasonable and justified?
They noticed the ds bug before the audio bugs
They're planning on buffing 6 survivor perks compared to 1 killer perk (from what we know from the dev stream)
The devs outright told killers to use different perks and didn't say the same to survivors.
See just some of the problems that are ticking the 65% off?

This post is in no way referring to killers and survivors, I know many survivor mains (albeit very inexperienced) who think ruin and doc are too strong/weak now. You're the one setting up camps and bringing the thread down to your level.

We can post whatever we want, this post for example is a chill post. People write their opinions. This isn't a business this is social media xd

Pretty sure the calm part are way more numerous than the angry part. They just don't look at the forum at all or stick to the healthy parts like lore, or fanarts. The rest only looked for the forums to complain after some bad games, and discovered a whole new world of anger to bathe in, and learned how to be as loud as possible xD
Me, I try to find logic in devs instead of just attacking them 24/7. Ruin rework was needed.

I learned doctor in two matches and ive never played him, if doc is your first or second killer thats one thing but dont say stuff like that
I was a rank 12 after rank resey and a rank 5 survivor was complaining about how doctor is still op, i am a rank 7 and the way they played would make you assume im a freaking potato compared to them, i do like to make logical decisions and i think an important part of that is fixing ranking, i got a 4k on 3 rank 4s and a rank 10, not to mention doc is lvl 18 so only one of my perks was lvl 3
Im not saying this is urgent but at one point or another devs should implement a way to determine skill or fix ranks

I've been following the game since just before The Last Breath. I've seen it when it's balance was at it's absolute worse. I've seen some really questionable decisions from the devs.
But here's the thing - while they make screw up and make a lot of short-sighted decisions, over the long run they've been steering the game into a better state over the years. So they've earned my faith that they'll eventually get it right.
I prefer playing killer, but I've played survivor enough to understand their side of the coin and am empathetic to the more reasonable claims they make.
But what gets me in trouble is I'm more tolerant of what others consider "scummy". I've always been of the opinion that you do whatever it takes to win. So if you slug me or hit me with NOED, I'm not one to complain. If you flashlight me or loop me, it's on me to counter it. So many complaints both sides makes usually just has me rolling my eyes thinking "oh ffs, get gud"

Bro survivors are mainly the 65% its not fair to say that in an update where survs got no nerfs while killers lost a really strong perk, wait til survivor nerfs happen then we can talk
Also i play survivor more than killer so dont try that stuff on me, i try to stay as neutral as possible despite not being a high rank killer, i watch streamers to see informed opinions
