Ok Doc is really OP
Comments

Through all the grilling of questions if most of you were intelligent enough to realize it they proved almost every one of your claims of lying to be false. They explained rather well over several comments how things happened. Let's just end this thread before it gets any dumber, because yes you can pip from dc's and no entity displeased is not a -2 pip

hahaha nice one!

I said that that he would need 14 hours to complete that task if he 1 PIPPED EVERY GAME.
This means that Merciless killer that gives you 2 is +1 pip relative to the base of 1 pip (1+1=2 lol). So Brutal killer that gives you 0 pips is -1 pip relative to the base of 1 pip (1-1=0) This means that Entity Despleased that gives you -1 pip is -2 pips relative to the base of 1 pip (1-2=-1)
So to simplify, every ENTITY DISPLEASED is -2 pips to the goal of getting 1 pip every game, and this means every Entity Displeased increases the time needed to get 53 pips by 2x15 minutes, if he 1 pips, or 15 minutes if he 2 pips.
So no, he still did not prove anything, he either played for 14 hours straight getting 53 Ruthless Killers in a row, or played for 7 hours and got 27 Merciless Killers in a row.
And that is humanly impossible for a "survivior only main" who just started playing a killer and only is carried by "OP Doctor"

You have to remember that he’s still new. Survivors are still trying to figure how exactly to counter him. You also started at rank 15, meaning that you were getting matched with lower skilled players who are going to be easier to kill. When you combine these factors, any Killer will look OP. Just wait a couple weeks. I highly doubt that Doctor is actually OP and that players just need a chance to adapt to him. The DCs are probably from Survivors who don’t want to adapt and just to beat every Killer the same way (the same people who got Old Freddy and Legion nerfed).

not really, i have been told i have really good game sense as killer for being a survivor main

Your math was not well explained hence me pointing it out and also who gives a crap how many hours it took? I've had multiple 8+ hour sessions in this game, it's doable PERIOD. There is no if they only did this then they can't do x in this. It's not like they don't know game mechanics.

Well I doubt its true, just knowing how to play and actually playing kilker are different things, but whatever.
If you are really that good at this game, then maybe its not an issue with Doc being OP, maybe its just you being good at the game.

Killere should be powerful.
The power role should have power. Yiur narrative is inaccurate.

The point is that if someone is able to have 27 perfect games, then it does not matter if the killer is good or not, they are just a great killer player and will do great no matter if the killer is trash or god tier.
Just because someone is a master of Clown and can destroy every optimal tryhard SWF team doesnt meant that Clown is OP killer and needs a nerf.
Not to mention that devs repeatedly prove that they balance the game based on new/average players, not pros.

Freddy is op, and is S tier. yeah i agree. Doc, sorry doc is just a mid tier killer currently rised from low tier killer.

So you have 1400 hours but you're only Devotion 2 - 99? Sounds like 700+ hours of afk in lobby time and not actually playing.

15 to 3 in one day...hm. I wanna believe you but then I can’t because that just isn’t really possible. Every game would have to be a double pip and matches would have to be found in seconds to have enough time. Adding onto what @Sonzaishinai said about how many pips it would take to reach 3 from 15. You said “also i might add that i get a 1-2 dcs almost every game since they rage quit” which really hurts your score and chances of piping and honestly would cause a lot of depips. Plus saying you typically give a person a free escape also would hurt your score.
So let’s say on average taking all this in account you get about 2-3k almost every game, that’s bad for pipping especially in higher ranks, to compensate you need to have long matches and do a lot which takes time. So to keep doing that all in a day isn’t possible sorry. In short, doc is fine, people just need to adapt.

People played before devotion... I have 2300 and am at 5 level 30ish

i feel like i am actually really good with killer even though i haven't played them alot, i have watched alot of killer gameplay if that counts, from really good killers on youtube, who give commentary on their mistakes, the best way to beat your enemy is to know how your enemy thinks, im at a point in my knowledge of this game where i can predict what the survivor thinks im going to do and what they think im going to do, i usually end chases petty fast no matter what rank, especially with docs shock ability and how on certain loops i can shock the survivor and they dont have enough time to go around it again without getting hit. (and alot of my friends who have watched me play killer say im pretty good)

It's time for the doctor to get the nurse rework! 6 second delay between shocks. /S

Uh, ok, lets say that you are really that good and you really pulled off that many perfect games, but again, that does not mean that Doctor needs nerf.
Maybe you are a very good player or just Doctor suits your playstyle. Keep in mind that Doctor is pretty unique and players dont know how to play against him yet. Compared to other killers Doctor's power is not that strong, his ability to get information is not bad, but for example Infectious Fright has basically the same effect as Static Blast and its a perk that every killer can use. So current Doctor is at most mid tier, compared to meta killers he is not that good.

i agree, and its up to everyone to decide if they want to believe me or not, but maybe in a month or two if doc is still performing better than he should be then maybe increase the base shock charge time by 1-2 seconds. the buff to his base range is amazing though, i always felt his shock could be easily avoided on a loop.

That'd be a video

You tweaking bro, just run the long side of the loop or drop the pallet early as simple as that, once you drop a pallet he has to break it at certain tiles otherwise he has to BL you and waste loads of time. This game is a 1v4 not 1v1 you shouldn't expect to be able to loop a killer an entire game. Your gameplan should be to delay the killer for as long as possible enough time for your team to do gens.
0 -
im talking about this from a killer perspective, if you read threw the comments, i have noticed i can shut down alot of loops where i dont have to break the pallet and can get a easy down, there is very few loops that i cant shut down.
0 -
How is he performing now, and how should he perform?
0 -
Please no increased charge time. I think the one change Doc could use is having his cooldown after shock therapy increased from 1.5 seconds to two seconds. Increasing his shock therapy charge time just has the potential to make his shock therapy useless at pallet loops again.
Also, if survivors are able to loop you for a good minute, that doesn't sound like Doc is op. Looping a killer for one minute can already be pretty bad for the killer.

for me when i play as him i dominate no matter the map, swf or solo, perks the survivors use, items and add-ons they use, add-ons that i use, and even the perks i use. and i am currently sitting at rank 3.

When I was reading about doc patch, I was seeing a lot of complaints about cool down of his power..... Where the hell is that? Docs running around constantly doing shocks with giant ass AOE. He pretty much destroys EGC if there is only 1-2 survivors. I even started running calm spirit with my buddy and I noticed there is still a visible notification of a shock. So the lack of scream is pretty much there to prevent ear #########, but doesn't keep you hidden. Great.
Either give the doctor a cool down or shrink his AOE. Atm I'm just going to DC Everytime I see it's the doctor. Like the lery map, I'm already sick of it being back to back to back

yeah but i apply enough pressure that they dont get any gens popped, the closest they have gotten to getting them all done with me is 2 gens left.
0 -
It's to the point now where I am seeing 4 DCs as a doc...also I played against one and I can kind of see why...
0 -
His static blast is a nice way too apply map pressure, though if survivors really are striggling with doing gens against a Doc, it's probably also due to their mistakes. Doctor doesn't have any mobility, so he can't pressure gens too much.

Judging by the amount of posts you have, I can say you are trolling.
0 -
If that's the case then the survivors you've been playing are pretty bad tbh, because the gameplan vs doc is still the same as before and if they're not utilizing it then they must not know or have the experience. I play both sides so I know what to do vs killers in most situations.
0 -
That's a pretty vague and entirely anecdotal claim.
0 -
you have your own opinions but i have provided proof that i am red rank as killer, and if you want to see the hours i have in the game, and the amount of survivors i have sacrificed, then you can do so by looking at my xbox acount TheLegendDyl4n1.

The developers, in the last Q&A, obviously learnt from that mistake.
@not_Queen in Q&A:
"We definitely learnt from Freddy incident."
You can't keep using the developers past and assume they are the same people as before. People change, learn, and evolve their behavior as time goes on. 😁

1.There is 1 second delay between releasing Shock Therapy and it actually hitting the survivior, you can use this time to escape from the ability radius (11m) or to start vaulting to make the shock pointless.
2.You can Snap out of it BACK TO T1 and its easier to do so
3.You scream only at tier up or when hit with Static Blast, the latter has 60 seconds cooldown and a few seconds charge time.
0 -
1 and 2 ok, but 3? you scream every like 30 sec in tier 3, and also when hit with shock therapy, not just when you tier up and static blast.
0 -
They scream in T3 only when they miss skillchecks.
And Shock Therapy does not make them scream, only Static Blast
0 -
Yeah pallets and windows are not your friend all of a sudden. I main a pallet freddy and i laugh my ass off so many times when they rely on pallets. Even better when they slam me with a pallet and tbag wasting time only to get downed on the fake one.
0 -
no, i have been playing doc since his change and they do scream when you shock them with shock therapy, along with being in tier 3 for a certain amount of time and not trying to get out of tier 3, im not lying thats how it is, so stop trolling and do your research. maybe everyone you go against has calm spirit on, but i personally only get maybe one or two people with it 1/10 games (in red ranks)
