I have returned to the dark side!
So after being a killer main for most of my time in DBD, I had recently switched to survivor.
I decided to spend to last three days embracing my killer main and was reminded how tough this role can be.
First I am a rank 13 after a few resets. So I go in the game playing LF because I am new with him and figured, wth, I have plenty of experience. Well the game was tough and I get to the end and its a rank 4 and three 5s.
Well okay so I switched to some spirit and Freddy to see what the games would bring, no ruin of course. Damn these games were tough. All weekend I played purple and red ranks. Not a big deal because I have been a red rank killer so it was competitive. But I can't see how a killer can not play tryhard if they want to compete. Survivors of the highest skill are so good and spreading their gen pressure, extending chases rotating gen pressure during chases. I definitely could not play in a sitting for as long as I can survivor.
So I try some solo. And I think this may be the worst part of the game if you get potato teammates. At least as killer I don't have to rely on others. As solo I am farmed, left on the hook, no one doing gennys, looping around hooked guy, #########, so frustrating.
Then as survivor, killers are running ebony's every game, noed, tunneling off the hook to mori me, setting up camp. Which frustrating as hell, I can understand if they're truly trying to rank up.
So what do you guys thinks is the worst park of the game for you? The tunneling camping mori noeder? The SWF so coordinated gen pressure is a constant stress. The potato teammates that leave you until second phase and never touch the gennys even if you looped the guy for 3 minutes. The match making?

I'm a green rank killer so I should not be paired with a full red rank swf team.

Yes totally agree. It is supposed to be fixed soon.
Would you prefer longer wait times for a more fair game?

again, survivors rank up super ez, I can tell you im a rank 3 atm and really, I should't be, I should be at best...8 or so.
And im not the only one, those red ranks you are facing can just as easily be complete potato's, rank does not matter.

This is completely true, but I have played long enough to see the difference between the two.

I think this is what a lot of people on this forum don’t realize. They play killer exclusively and act like survivors have it so easy, then you play survivor and get dominated with only 2 gens done because the average survivor is garbage and those are the people on your team game after game after game.
Killer can be stressful but it’s so much easier to win or draw as killer. As survivor now you can’t even rely on the hatch anymore after the EGC change so you’re pretty much gonna die in 9/10 games.

Yeah I dont know how solo survivors do it. It has to be the hardest role in the game.
But thank you to all the really good solo players that I have had join some off my games.
You guys are priceless. And we will go back for you if hooked in end game!
