Is Calm Spirit good?
I have been running Calm Spirit a lot lately since everyone is playing Doctor. And while it appears to be pretty strong against him, but what about against other killers? Does anyone have any success with this perk?

It counters infectious fright too (if im not wrong? ) i see that perk used sometimes

It's near useless against anyone who isn't doctor.

It works on clowns gas too.

That still doesn't make it any more useful, as the core part of the gas bottles isn't the survivor screaming.
It's the bottle slowing them down.

It's meh.

It counters pretty much anything that causes survivors to scream, such as infectious, iron maiden, getting caught in bear traps, docs shock therapy, that one nurse add on, clown gas, and spies from the shadows.
Its an odd perk that has its uses but its situational!

Calm Spirit is one of those gems that people forget about really easily. I have been using it quite a bit and even if you are not against Doctor its really nice since it has such a diverse use against certain killers perks/powers.

It beats iron will atm. Too many Doctors...

.. but it does make it more useful. You can walk through the gas without the clown knowing you’re there. Calm Spirit is a stealth perk after all.

At low ranks and inexperienced killers yes. Top notch killers will just laugh when you get smacked or hooked and no sound comes out.
Best off using Iron Will, OP. It's a meta perk at high ranks for a reason. And the only perks you should care about are the ones that are meta at rank 1.If you're going to be in an infectious fright radius anyway you better be on a gen, because if you're just doing nothing for the team then you're obviously going to let your team down. (And then blame it on the killer *if* you're an entitled, short minded survivor main who doesn't take responsibility for being useless because the devs encourage this behavior)

Calm spirit really helps against tracking. Crying like a punk is really easy to hear, and I know cuz I use it all the time to find survivors.

It's pretty crazy against doctor as others have said.
Also counters niche perks like spies from the shadows iirc.

It's good against doctor, freddy, and perks like iron maiden, dragonsgrip, and infectious fright.

Is it good? yeah does it deserve a slot? no

It's a niche perk, but with more killer perks causing survivors to scream it's becoming more useful in general.

It’s a trash perk, as 99% of surv perks

Yes. Aside from preventing you from screaming, which is excellent, it keeps you from disturbing the crows. As you progress and go against more skilled Killers, you will find that they can spot a disturbed crow halfway across the map. Many people even take the Perk: Spies in the Shadows. Crows give you away to good Killers. Calm Spirit is a auto-include for me.

I would never prioritise countering docs they are significantly less of a threat then your spirits (iron will) or hex ruin undying (small game). Id argue its actually worse for your team since you getting downed means you team dosent have your scream as a heads up. However infectios fright is terrifyingly powerful which would make me sooner use it then docs running around.

I use it 100% on Nancy (one of my mains) because I hate the Doctor and I go against him all the time when I play Nancy. Its weird.

It's a junk perk. Only good against Doctor and sort of good against Clown, and against IF Slug Nurses, but then you will die to an IF Slug Nurse no matter what you do.
Since there is no need to stealth against Doctor or Clown (it is better to just run and loop them) Calm Spirit has no real significant use.
Sorry but it really isn't.
As you progress towards more skilled killers they don't give a damn if you're stealthing they will find you and they will kill you, just like Liam Neeson.

If you say so. :) I've had very good results with what you call a "garbage" Perk. I stand by my advice.
