For the people who are complaining about NOED
Comments

You.. hit them instead of grab them?
0 -
By that time couldn't the killer wait 10 seconds or less? Or is it too much to keep track of?
0 -
it's kinda like how red rank survivors always find a way to 3 gen themselves
2 -
Nah, I'm maining Doc until the next patch (then it's back to slugging). It's hilarious how cocky survivors are when you tunnel them, then they go down, preparing to hit that incredibly difficult skillcheck (lol) only to see it do nothing.
1 -
I've played maybe 10 hours since the archives came out, and only one of my games was as survivor. I know killer is stressful to play, but I also know that it isn't impossible to do everything right. They key is learning from your mistakes and having patience with yourself.
0 -
just out of curiosity what rank are you ?
0 -
Good for you.
0 -
Tbh I'm currently 8. Recently tried post nerf nurse with some less than satisfactory results.
0 -
Dont deserve it? Lmao they dont stand any chance when the killer is circling the hook.
At least with NOED the killer has a chance to stop the gens being done.
0 -
So if a survivor is trying to force a ds and runs up to my face begging to be hit that's tunneling?
3 -
Taking a hit? You can try but its not guaranteed, not when the unhooked survivor panics and runs off setting off all the traps in the process (hag players always put 8 traps around the hook).
You must play with voice comms.
0 -
The whole argument was how do you help a survivor when a Hag is running back to the hook to tunnel and she’s trapped the hell out of the hook - without relying on perks.
Love how you give such a toxic reply though just to defend the killer side.
Also all hags trap the hook excessively, all of them.

When I play survivor this crap annoys me. It happens ALL the time.
When I play killer, I try to make this happen and it's usually pretty easy to do.
3 -
There's this pespective that the game ends when all gens are done, which is not true. The match doesn't end until survivors escape/die. NOED's design is for this portion of the match after the gens are done but the survivors haven't left the match or have been sacraficed.
2 -
In the end its still mostly the survivors fault, unless you drop every chase. Which is wrong tbh. You can try to make it happen but ultimately survivors can choose what gens they do
0 -
it always happens on autohaven I swear .
1 -
If by waiting around the hook you mean starting leave it and a survivor goes for a dive because they have BT which allows for brain dead no skill plays? Or patrolling because I saw scratch marks or actually spotted a survivor? But thats camping. Obviously.
1 -
For my killer career I did not use noed, moris, tunnel, slug or camp. I was a big believer and user in ruin, it fixed a fundamental flaw in the game that made it possible to use killers that were more fun than top tier. Ruins been taken away. So Yesterday, after playing fair with demogorgon and getting bullied for my trouble, I said ######### it. I became #1 ######### killer that I hate to go against, and found it to be much easier and fun. Survivors are in general toxic pricks, I wont be playing by their rules anymore.
3 -
Hit them instead and leave them on the ground. Wait for them to poo up from unbreakable and slug them again. At this point it should be safe to pick them up and hang them.
I'm not a fan of camping or slugging, but when they act like idiots, make them pay.

You fail to realize how long 60 seconds is; a lot can happen between the unhook and when you down the unhooked survivor again
Look up any video from popular content Creators and you'll see they get Dstruck and say "Oh my bad for tunneling" very Ironically
2 -
Just dont pick up the guy who just got unhooked for 60 seconds. I don’t see whats so hard. Otherwise eat it, its only a 5 second stun.
Meanwhile killers think its perfectly fine to ask survivors to cleanse 5 totems which is 74 seconds and then theres the travel time on top so you’re talking 2-3 mins minimum otherwise the killer gets a turbo boost and instadowns.
How about you lot take a look in the mirror. You’re asked to do one simple thing and apparantly its too hard but you expect survivors to jump through all kinds of hoops. Now apparantly we dont just need gens the game needs to be changed so we collect 50 golden trinkets and 20 silver jingamabobs before we can even touch a gen. lmao what is this a 90’s platformer?
0 -
you're still not understanding the point. the devs have stated several times that ds is a anti tunnel perk , survivors abuse it by doing stuff like going for the save . or getting on a gen only to be grabbed off it after another survivor has been hooked.
1 -
Just slug them. If you lunge when they’re on a gen you hit them instead of grabbing them.
I find it funny how people here complain about DS night and day.
Old DS was awful, absolutely awful. New Ds...there are some situations where it’s annoying by for the most part I dont find myself affected by it that much anymore.
If someone is getting frustrated with DS all the time then I think they need to reflect on their playstyle as its likely more tunneling than they realize.
0 -
I dont have to deal with getting hit by DS much either but when it happens it's usually for something stupid .
also how do you feel about DS working during the EGC?
0 -
It's a powerful crutch perk so don't be cocky when you win an entire game thanks to no ed. Yes it's an end game perk and can easily be avoidable, but not everyone is going to break totems.
0 -
This is why ds lasts one minute at level 3. If you can do all that in less than a minute, good on you and now you can wait 10 seconds for it to go away by injuring someone else or kicking their gen.
0 -
1) not everyone runs bbq
2) why would i go to a far away gen, in a safe zone, not close to other gens? That’s a losing strategy. It’s more effective to stay near the hook.
1 -
So you wait around the hook trying to deny unhooks and then you complain about DS.
Umm, that's the reason DS was brought in.
0 -
For the survs that complaing against every single perk, dont dc for hatch esc.
1 -
I mean it's not the most powerful crutch perk ( DH used properly for distance) theres no counter to that . meanwhile there are several counters to noed 1. small game 2. detectives hunch 3. maps 4. learn totem spawn points 5. do totems on your way to gens .
0 -
Hey now, enough of that "Teaching them so they stop complaining". I won't be able to run Tier 1 NOED Clown if everyone starts knowing how to counter it.
3 -
I think its the amount of time requires to combat one perk. Running around the map trying to cleanse totems takes time, often get interrupted which resets progress, and you need to find all five.
Its a hell of a lot of work for solo players, id they dont the killer gets turbo speed and unlimited instadowns on M1
The counter to DS for example is just dont pick them up
0 -
Um no, ds has come into play even when I wasn’t looking for that survivor. Killers can do well by abandoning it only if the survivors are weak.
0 -
And I go down to NOED after doing 4 totems and spending 5 minutes looking for the 5th but to no avail.
Sucks eh?
0 -
Imagine complaining about NOED in 2020.
KEKW.
0 -
Oh well. I have around 2000 hours as killer and survivor, and in that time, a very low percentage of games have been significantly impacted by NOED. It usually means that the killer gets an extra one or two. They only steamroll if the team is stupid.
0 -
That's the thing, a perk which generates an extra kill or two is pretty damn powerful, no?
0 -
once again there are things in the game that help you in countering it and finding totems .
0 -
so then would you also have a problem with haunted grounds ?
0 -
HG doesn't guarantee and extra kill, it only lasts 60 seconds and doesn't provide the speed boost.
0 -
Obvi your issue is map design and totem placements. If NOED triggers its you and your teams fault. If survivors had a similar perk obvi it would be the killers fault for not stopping it in the first place. Typical survivor main complaining about killers and they're perks lmao.
0 -
Guess you missed the entire forum complaining about DS and BT because they can't just leave the hook and chase other survivors?
0 -
Its that simple
(Made this for you )
2 -
Yeah I didnt read the whole forum but the post is about NOED not DS, BT, DH or adrenaline. Anytime you get a killer that seems to be playing bad I ALWAYS assume NOED and start cleansing. It doesnt matter as other survivors dont but oh well.
0 -
3:13 Claudette is unhooked, has enough time to heal, runs under the hook, and is grabbed and hits the killer with DS.
JuSt DoN'T tuNnEl.
1 -
I shall cherish this image for the rest of my life. thank you.
1 -
So a bad player gets the biggest slowdown in the game or instadowns.
Nice perk.
1 -
@ClickyClicky It seems you cant do totems then huh? Because how your wording it seems like NOED automatically wins the killer the game. How do you feel about Devour hope? Instadowns for hooking survivors = Fair, unsalty game. Instadowns for starting the game for possibly the first time and learning the game = CruTcH PeRk GiT gUd KiLlErS.
I love this game and hate most of the community -_-
1 -
@ClickyClicky Wait! I know! Its cuz Devour Hope is 1 totem and lit up. Requires less knowledge of the maps and game. Dont need an answer now lmao
0 -
they'll say dont grab her but like you cant not grab her when you're that close lmao
