I honestly don't want to promote multiple thread (Matchmaking)

I'm a measly rank 8....why do I only get survivors 5,6,7 ranks above? Since I hit rank 10, this has been the norm.
Again...just looking for the short answer and didn't want to read though 5 pages of people giving opinions. Just want to know, yes or no;
Is the current match making system working as intended?

This is the current standard.
Until the new matchmaking & rating system goes live, it will take a couple of weeks/months.

they're getting matched against you. why is it increasing? because there's no red rank killer available to take them
