Spam report filter is still bugged

Just an fyi I just got posting blocked for reporting 3 threads all from the same user who's spam posting every 2-3 minutes without getting blocked.
Which is 5 minutes and that's umm funny to say the least given how the spam poster is spamming away again on a new account
I'll wait 10 minutes and see if I still get whacked but if this happens on spam I'm worried about the encouragement to report all the insulting. Since most of the forum will be blocked form posting within a few minutes.

Oh and there's 16 and counting threads from same poster just on the 1st page, I haven't looked on 2nd page. I wonder if they get paid per spam post?

Not sure if that is the same account, but if it was that asian being spamposted, then that was dealt with as I contacted a moderator directly to deal with it.
But you're right, if you get blocked for reporting posts, then they need to solve it.

That was, it's the same person and they just make new accounts. Yes it was from reporting the spam poster which the blocker had been loosened according to @Peanits It's probably just a system bug.

For spam "bots" (I don't want to assume they're a robot and not just someone with way too much time on their hands) specifically, I wouldn't bother reporting every single post. Reporting one of their posts- per account you see doing it- is perfectly fine. Because they're just there to spam and not post at all, we skip escalation and instantly ban them and delete their posts anyway. Reporting multiple posts from the same spammer is basically overkill.
I'll also just check the recent threads once I see one anyway, so I'll probably catch the rest regardless.
That, and you lovely people are so good at reporting them that usually each post gets multiple reports just minutes after they're reported, so thanks for that.
All that aside, do you notice the filter normally when not reporting bots, or is it only when you're reporting multiple posts at the same time? While we could raise it if it's still causing issues, we also don't want to set it too high and make it possible to spam more.

@Peanits I'll have to check and see since I'm pretty sure it's for both. I'll update this later when I find out lol. BTW did you take care of the report on the racist language in another thread already? They used it a lot faster than I thought they would given their posting style and such.

Well if you're referring to em I'd be honored to be one, but reporting and trying to make things better is something I'd do regardless. It wouldn't matter if I were to get a jailed type, thing, I'd still try and help, part of who i am, being a Libra it's in my genes so tos peak lol.

I don't have them friended so I can't pm them and I'm not going to resurrect an older thread since they might think it's something old I'm referring to. If you think this is an attention getting attempt you're sadly mistaken. If it was the mods would know it was and wouldn't want someone like that.
So before trying to insinuate or try and insult me if that was your intent, why not ask why I was making the post to let them know.

No you saw what you wanted to see, not what was actually there, ask peanits and he'll confirm exactly what I said to be true. But even if he does confirm it you'll still believe what you want to believe.
But personally your opinion of me and my posts doesn't really matter since I know as do others what my intent was. You only have to look at the post where he told em to make a new post if it happened again to know that to be true.

Where the hell is that ban hammer they kept mentioning in the Play with the Devs stream? Damn... I've spent a lot of time not playing my PS4 anymore and trying to ban scam accounts that post onto communities every 13 minutes... And considering most players on these communities are asking for help it's a major pain in my Hex.
