Devs Release New Community Survey, Would they even care like the last time? Lol
When they released the last survey, They never mentioned anything about Ruin, even if they know(BHVR Devs) majority of the players on different forum are against with this changes on Ruin, But still they went Live.. So Do you expect these devs will even listen on the additional feed backs we will give them?

I got about 26th i think or so question before i was like ######### this, they want feedback on lore rather than the changes they have made to the game in the past few weeks.

did you even know what you're saying? They make an survey that ONLY them can see, so why would they even spend their time with? like, the devs are not villains, I know that they do some questionable things, but if they wanted to kill the game, they could easily
just stop complaining about the devs without an actual argument, you know that they read, you just want to complain more and more

I think with "we" you are kinda making a mistake.
We are not the large playerbase, most players arnt even on these forums.
I think a LOT of survivors are very happy with the change, me included, as killer I never run ruin as survivor im happy its changed.
Its actually a cooler perk now imo.

Cooler perk in a way, we can't use PGTW to increase the progression while the new ruin perk is up? Ok, I understand you because you're a survivor main.. And yeah you're right majority of the players are not on the forum. Try going to reddit, you'll be surprise there are more active OPs there and you'll see how they attack the incompetence of bhvr devs.. Even Good players like tru3ta1ent even tells his viewers, new ruin is BS..

What do you expect.. I mean no one even cares about the lores.. its too damn long.. I mean why would i spend 3-5 minutes reading on a useless and pointless lore.. I bought this game to play as Killer or Survivor.. And that's it.. I don't give a crap about these lores... who even made them.. Its kinda pointless. they should make a survey that focuses on the real problem (matchmaking, big ass maps, unbalance perks, gen speed, RUIN NERF), not these lores and crap..

again, there is your issue, you are thinking in boxes, survivor main, killer main, you think you are part of some large group with all share your believes but the truth is nope, you only see things from your perspective but lack the bigger picture and apperently willingly so.

Only because there is an outrage does not mean that things get changed/reverted. There are even Threads on this Forum that new Ruin is not as bad as people thought.
And if we consider things like Freddy and Doctor where people really were saying that the Killers get worse, it should be quite clear that an outrage should not lead to a quick revision.

But you do know playing killer is more frustrating now since ruin nerf.. Especially M1 Killers doesn't have any chance on Big ass Maps right? You get 2-3 Gens popping up in the 1st minute before you even find your first Survivor or First Hook.. That's how frustrating is playing killer right now.. If you don't have any idea what I'm talking about, and the way you talk, I know you're a survivor main..

I am a Survivor Main, I guess 60/40. But I play a lot of Killer. And did not use Ruin. So I am not the right person for this "Killer is stressful after the Ruin Nerf"-Narrative.

Well, I care for lore and find my fun in learning more of the characters, the ruin change was needed (I'm not a survivor main) and not everything Tru3 says is the absolute truth but I guess you only want to see people with similar views as yours to keep shiting on the devs...

Lol, How many months or years did it take for the devs to even rework a map? There's like more Big ass Maps than smaller ones.. And on the survey it only ask what map should need a rework where you can only choose 1.. ONLY "1". When all big ass maps should have a rework, not only 1. So what are you talking about?

I know they listen.. Of course, Only if these feed backs or opinions comes from the Survivor side.. Remember Ruin was not nerf because it boosted Killers, But because potato survivors have a problem hitting a Great Skill Check.. Yup.. They do listen to Survivors quite well..

Shelter Woods is probably the best big ass map for killers. and it doesn't need a rework even how big it is, since every killer even M1 killers has a chance to get a high kill rate on this map, because devs have nerfed the number of pallets on this map.. If only they could do it on every big ass maps, but too bad, All big ass maps other than Shelter have a problem with pallet spawn where they spawn close to each other and therefore it takes more time for the killer to even hit one especially if you're facing red rank god loopers..

A lot of us disagree with some choices BHVR has made in the past and have spoken it in the forums. Having the 'Trusted' tag doesn't mean we are yes men to everything they do and agree with every change they make. No matter how anyone feels about the surveys that they conduct. They get their information some way or another from the survey and discuss it.

Did they discuss about Ruin nerf though? I don't think so.. In fact if you read a lot of forums especially on reddit where most of the player base leave their opinion, There are more people players there who wants to send a memo to bhvr devs that they made a bad decision nerfing ruin, but did the devs even listen? when in fact even on their last survey ruin was not even mentioned after all the negative feedbacks on forums.. Therefore they don't listen.. Remember, Ruin was not nerf because it was boosting Killers, But it was a headache and frustrations for Potato Survivors to hit a Great Skill Check instead of finding ruin and destroying it.

The perk isn't cool, it was always a lame perk ask any killer they hated running ruin but it was needed to balance out gen times, now that it's gone it's just a lamer perk than before not even worth running.

I think they dont listen or dont care. Many ppl disagreed with Ruin changes before release and they did it regardless on opinion of community. Just started some nonsense about their determination and expected backleash... bla bla. I think they listen to survivors not to killers.

Ruin needed to be changed, get over it. They will make other things stronger, or weaker to compensate the early game for Killers. It sucks, but it will get better, it's how balancing works. Like do you think League of Legends got to where it is now, if it didn't have to just cut weeds by the stem? No there was a time when you could run 6 Sunfires, and 6 Warmogs for insane buffs that ruined games, and skewed statistics. Then they ripped that playstyle right out from under the players and overtime fixed the damage those builds caused when they got the statistics back on track.

They talked about Ruin on there Q&A stream. The fact is they wanted to change the perk for a while and were actively looking at it since July last year. This change was happening regardless of feedback.
Now while yes they could have put out questions on any of the survey's but what would it mean if it was hapenening anyway in the PTB one? what else would it tell them that hasn't already been said? technically if they did ask about it then I would bet some would be posting that they obviosuly dont read the forums as the feedback has been given many times.
This survey seems more about possible future changes and looks to get an maybe idea on what aspects to get the teams working on e.g. the map rework question.
Personally I wouldnt keep mentioning Reddit as that site isnt what it used to be. It became a meme site long ago.
