Survivors being abducted in the middle of trials?

There have been a few instances, it seems, of survivors going from the real world straight into an ongoing trial in the realm of the Entity. Bill's cinematic shows him revived right beside an active generator as a killer comes around the corner, straight from where he died by a generator in the game. Nancy Wheeler and Steve Harrington's bio implies that they heard the roar of the Demogorgon in the distance and were in Hawkins Lab, respectively. Ash and Tapp hear screams, evident that he's not simply at the campfire. The Cursed Legacy trailer also has Yui drive straight into the Fog where she meets the Oni. There may be more examples of this but these are the ones I am aware of. Unfortunately they may not be canon, as these are all either licensed characters or from cinematics, but I want these things to be canon dammit. If they are, why would the Entity do this? Did the trial start with 3 survivors or did they become a 5 man team halfway through? Maybe they came in to replace a dead survivor if the trial wasn't yielding enough?

I always had theory that Entity is able to kidnap survivors from original locations to it's own created copies of these locations. So, bypasser didn't catch difference at first, but then he realised that he in trial.

So, there are real worlds, where survivors lived before they were kidnapped. In those worlds Macmillan Estate, Coldwind farm and other locations existed. We know that Entity creates copies of those realms in her world from survivor's and killer's memories.

I like to think, if in real world random guy wander around, for example Autohaven junkyard, he will be transfered into Entity's world. After this, he will end up in trial without even realising it.

This theory based on Benedict journal. As we know, Benedict searched for missing people in Macmillan Estate. After he came inside, he ended up in Entity's world.

I feel like it's also possible that the structure of the in game trials aside, these may not be the only games the Entity plays with its captives. (Has it been confirmed it's always a four-survivors-one-killer round in lore notes and I've just forgotten? If so, sorry, need to dust off my lore and my brain lol.) Entity has been around for a long time, and I believe devs said in a stream that Evan was tortured to make him into a killer for the Entity, so we know at least some one-on-one stuff goes on. Maybe they were kidnapped into more of a free for all, or the Entity set up a trial specifically to bring them in and give them a rough start. :|

Or maybe this is their in-universe version of the player that has a slow load and comes into the match late with the killer having found someone very, very quickly. The Entity and its malicious spawn placements strikes again...

Maybe the Entity just popped them into the tutorial to let them know, "This is your 'life' now. Enjoy!"
