The devs are probably saving the popular characters for later on in the year.
Besides, the droids are quite unique imo. If they have unique play styles and abilities then I think they'll be good additions.

If Fallen Order and the comics have anything to say, he would be disgustingly over powered. Imagine him throwing pallets at YOU or just force choking your teammates right in front of you. He would actually be terrifying.
Yup but it's not so bad because they open up spots for other support type characters like R2-D2 and stuff. :P
