Toxic survivors agree that the survivor side is overpowered
I play on xbox so theres no end game chat but I was watching otz on youtube today and in almost every game where he was a survivor (and one where he was killer and someone got the hatch) his teammates would say "GGEZ" followed by the usual ######### talking. I too used to receive these messages before my skills dipped and now i never go above green ranks as killer for some reason, im sure everyone here has. But think about what theyre saying.
"Good game, but the game was easy for us to win"
Theyre saying the game is too easy, these people crave a challenge but as a SWF wins are basically handed to you if you try at all. Will someone please listen to the survivors for once ):
P.S survivor is overpowered but i think the actual solution isn't nerfing survivor stuff but buffing killer stuff (A dream currently far away) DBD is just not a competitive game and shouldn't be treated as such, and if you disagree remember they currently think the game is balanced lol. Id rather them just make both sides fun regardless of who you play against. This just a little hit the blunt observation feel me, dont be coming in here talking that ######### i know how yall are lol

Now that i think about it that's every game tho, especially when people get they assed whopped. They'll be like "######### you, you suck" but if the person you beat sucks it means you aint #########. It actually probably means you suck because you tilted that you almost lost, how do you almost lose to someone who sucks so bad?

That was kind of mean but that's a really dumb ass reply. One, because anyone who plays dbd knows how toxic survivors are and to you used one example of a snippet of a long convo ("Once again") of a killer telling you to go ######### yourself to basically justify being a toxic #########. "But I didn-" But the my post was basically a joke making fun of people who send toxic messages, to which you replied defensively implying youre constantly being a toxic #########! that guy was apparently low rank too and wait, oh wait let me guess, you bullied him all game and sent "GGEZ"? Which is why you felt the need to defend yourself.
Im a ######### genius I know but now that we got all that out of the way theres something I wonder, because toxic survivors have this victim card they play a lot (GET IT) where it doesn't seem like you realize youre being a toxic #########. You get on gta or cod or Overwatch and find someone toxic and be like "Hey you a toxic piece of #########" and they'll be like "damn straight"
So heres what im wondering right, toxic survivors dont play killer. The assumption is because its hard, BUT what if its because you actually feel a moral objection to the "other side". You dont play killer but you constantly see your friends die to them. Now toxic survivors are toxic across the board, even and especially to other survivors. I dont got an explanation for this.
Anyway I would like to hear your thoughts on why youre a toxic survivor, I might make a thread because I wonder about it and I think I got good theories but I never get a chance to voice them because I only get on here lit, and I dont be thinking about it dig but this ######### reminded me

Best thing you can do when faced with toxicity is.... Just ignore them. I'm also on Xbox and when I play DBD I always go on Do not disturb, that way messages are at the back of my mind and I can have fun.

There's dickheads on both sides but I notice it more of it on the survivor side, and it's probably just that that role has more appeal for certain types of people - it's usually accepted as the stronger side at higher ranks, its the only option if you want to try and bully people in a group, it also subverts the whole horror element which I guess can be kinda funny, like in the Friday 13th game with all the counsellors charging at Jason.

You and everyone else but I play both sides. I know how easy it is to win as survivor, bout as easy to win with a mori if the killer isn't tunneling you (and im a ######### tunnel magnet, probably because I loop pallets. Tf else im supposed to do tho lol)
But DBD is comically toxic, its interesting and now Im on a thought trip, working on a psot right now bout it. Because why dbd specifically?

But DBD is something special, and even more interesting is the fact that its mostly survivors. I dont know any other game where one side is overwhelming toxic but the other isn't, but then I dont know many asymmetrical games. I wonder how something like last year compares

I'm on xbox as well and I must inform you that you miss out on some good content. I love being invited to a party afterward so they can let me know I'm trash and a who're. 😂 god forbid I kill anybody, as a killer. I play fairly though, even nice.
I play both sides and get the same ######### from both though, that's just how it be. Some people are just bad sports.

I use to be the exact same. I would purposely play Overwatch's competitve mode not to grind for cosmetics, but to argue with some moron and get a laugh. However by the time I started playing Dead by Daylight I was burnt out from it. If you want to keep playing and arguing with toxic people then more power to you, go ahead. I just thought OP was sick of the toxicity and gave a solution.

I play killer and survivor but i had a killer game with trapper as a challenge and as i got in it was a 4 squad swf and they had all brought a flashlight so i decided to bring a eboni to combat this...well i first decided to be nice until flashlight spams came then i just decided you know what im not gonna get anywhere by being nice so hooked everyone killed first guy he messages me then proceed to kill everyone else then i read what this guy had put and i was the one being called toxic by him, because yeah a 4 squad swf with flashlights isnt as toxic as a killer using trapper (i never use him, im a wraith killer main) with an eboni mori. He even told me to join his party so all his mates could take a bite out of me xD tbh if an intire squad of flashlights came would you basically let yourself lose the match or make the match even by basically denying them the power to use unlimited flashlight saves.
In my entire time playing this game survivors will always be more toxic than killers.

There was no bullying involved, you're just making assumptions out of your butt! Me personally I think he was just fcked by the map. In which case I sent him a message mocking the devs, but his replies were not so great. He even took the time out of his life to put toxic comments on all of my DBD clips lmao.
This killer DCd because he was getting rolled, I was playing with 1 friend and 2 solos that game, he found my friend soon as game started and couldn't land a hit on him. But sure, assume that I got defensive at the OP, saying that both sides are equally toxic, which they are.

How was my first reply a dumbass reply? Get real lol, I'm not justifying being toxic, I was merely pointing out that it really is both sides, and showing one example of a long conversation of how ignorant the killer I was versing was, as well as how toxic he got.
I'm gonna tell you the same thing I told him and that is not to jump to conclusions.
