Reduce Gen Requirements when someone dies or d/cs
When someone d/cs or dies early on survivor, it literally ruins the game. Any competent killer will easily get a 4k before the three remaining three people can finish four-five gens. The entire game just feels like an uphill battle and you kinda lose motivation to even try to complete objectives.
I feel like every time a survivor dies or disconnects the gen requirement should drop by 1. This would even band-aid fix exploits like three genning.
If someone dies or disconnects early, the game should still give you a chance to escape as a team instead of turning into a hatch escape hunger games.

well that's why the hatch exists, to give you hope no matter how hopeless and lost the match's outcome will be, also why would a killer be punished for killing a survivor early? like if they dc early then maybe but if they die then that doesn't make sense

So you want more free passes when a survivor DC or dies early, why don't we just power the gates when a survivor DC. Survivors DC for no reason sometimes if you hit them first they DC, hook them first DC, don't like the killer guess what survivors DC.
I have a better idea add 1 gen onto the total amount for each DC it's not the killers fault if the survivors DC over small things, Yes sometimes you need to DC but a lot off times it's for stupid reasons like they got hit first.

I'm talking about when a survivor purposely or accidentally dies in the struggle phase when they still could've easily been saved

If he is on struggle phase he have been downed two times or was on hook for more than 60 seconds. I personally don't think that situation is considered an instant loss for the remaining survivors.

One idea is having fluctuating Gen times. All 4 alive means great time (maybe 100 seconds each) each death reduces the time by 10/15/20 seconds (don't have exact numbers that's job for the balance team).

I think the only situation where this would be fine is if someone DC's on purpose. Otherwise, no. If someone dies, that's just the game going in favor of the killer - as it should tbh.

No, it punishes the killer even more than a survivor dc'ing already does. Rework how dc's are handled but giving survivors an bonus to objective is not it, as it further punishes the killer.

On the flip side 3 escaping after someone dc early should auto uninstall killers game.

If a survivor dies on purpose in struggle, that's essentially them doing a DC without DC'ing, where dying while struggling, that's on survivors really. If a Killer is camping them while they struggle, then just do Gens. They're the ones sacraficing their possible chase times so they can secure a kill. Giving out free gens just because a survivor died is like giving a killer a free kill because they lost a gen. Unbalanced, and unfair for both sides.

It's these kind of posts that really hammer home how many people give up for no reason. I've played plenty of games where a person dc's before first gen is popped and we still manage to get a person out or get pretty close. Stop giving up so easily. Instead I think there should be an amount of points you get for surviving a set amount of time after a dc in the first 1-2 minutes of the game to encourage people to try.

What should really happen is that the DC should count as a full three hook for the killer, the person that DC'ed should be required to play as killer before they can play as survivor again, and everyone should get to keep their offerings.

ABSOLUTELY NOT are you frigging kidding me???
Hey I've got an even better idea. How about when gens get done survivors randomly die? Yeah that's what you're asking for basically on the other side

Imagine making the game easier when people die. Seems fair
