Unbreakable tests
Hi everyone Im gonna be doing an experiment tonight and probably over the course of the next couple days! Whats this experiment? Its to test unbreakable. You see I despise unbreakable and honestly think its one of the worst survivor perks in the roster so I will be playing 100 games with unbreakable! What will I chart? I will chart times Unbreakable:

Almost came in handy:
Was useless:
Came in handy means I was able to use the perk in the game and survive for more than 10 seconds!
Almost came in handy means I was able to use the perk but went down within 10 seconds of actually using it!
Was useless means I didn't get to use it at all!
I will come out with an update post with the results soon everyone!

Hey I've been doing the tests again cause I stopped for a bit, ive done 17/100 games so far and its not looking good. Just to give ya an update

Actually a really good idea. Mrs JawsIsTheNextKiller either runs Unbreakable and never gets slugged or replaces it with DS and never gets "tunnelled".
Always followed by, "I told you I should have left Unbreakable/DS on".

Do you have a target percentage in mind? At what point would you consider the perk worthy of having an extended stay in your loadout?

Considering most people think slugging is the most effective strategy against high rank Survivors, I would say that yeah, Unbreakable is pretty good. There’s a reason I have a 50% chance of seeing two or three Survivors with it in one game whenever I play Killer.
One time I actually did get Unbreakable’d on three times in one match. Just yesterday I got Unbreakable’d twice.

It’s not just how often you use it, it’s what a big swing it is when you do use it. Two people down, one on hook and one being chased. You pop up with unbreakable, unhook someone and then all three of you group heal really quick. That shifted the game so much it’s ridiculous.
Compare that to a perk you use every game like we’ll make it. Yes we’ll make it cuts your heal time in half but most cases that isn’t a game changing amount of time.

I just use no mither so it's literally impossible to get slugged

I don't like perks you can only use once and in very particular scenarios, so I rarely carry Unbreakable. The majority of the time I do not get slugged so the perk never comes in handy. Then half the time I do get to use it, it accomplishes very little because I'll go down again soon after. Once in a great while it'll save the day and those times are great, sure, but usually I just end up wishing I had equipped something else.
Same goes for DS, really.

I see what you mean, although frankly I almost always get use out of DS especially now getting matched up against lower killers IF they catch you they wanna tunnel.

I like finding Ruin at the start of the game because late game perk <3

Remember. PEOPLE forget that a secret bonus to unbreakable is the fast recovery. Getting to 99% so someone insta picks you up can be invaluable aswell.
Edit: Idk why it went from "people" to "please" in my head or typing but...it's supposed to be people.

@Weck @kate_best_girl Also, I would add to "almost handy" if the increased recovery made the difference to get you up to 95 fast enough so someone was able to raise you in time, that would not have been possible without Unbreakable when the killer is already approaching. Maybe a rare situation, but killers tend to stay close to slugged people.

I hate that perk because I literally never get to use it. Something like Iron Will has served me infinitely more.

Unbreakable is bae. Pulled a kobe off today when i was on hook, 2 surivovrs slugged and one already dead, killer hooks one as I kobe, I rush over unhook the other survivor with BT, I get slugged. While killer is chasing the survivor with BT, i use unbreakable, and heal the other slugged guy. That kobe to unbreakable just took 3 downed/hooked survivors and gave them all another second chance.
Use it with DS and when you get slugged after being tunneled on DS timer, pick yourself back up. Tenacity, if you have the room in your build, can make for some memes with unbreakable. It is partially why i will eat a DS stun if I have the time early in the match as killer, so i dont have to worry about slugging a DS later in the match and just go straight or the hook.
