PSA: New ruin may be the best perk to run on legion
I have switched pop for ruin on legion because of the amazing value Legion can get out of it.
This has been one of my recent games as legion, my ruin lasted a great 3-5 minutes in which no gens got done
Mending forces survivors to stay out of gens, which is basically free regression for you, plus, surveillance tells you when survivors are back at the gen which allows to put extra pressure on them
If it wasnt for ######### totem spots, new ruin could probably still be meta.

Not sure about that, and it's too reliant on ruin staying up with those other perks

Nice build, however, Trade Spirit Fury and Enduring for Thanatophobia and Dying Light, then it will truly be a good build.
I also recommend Filthy Blade and Nasty Blade, switch out Nasty Blade for Iridescent Button when you go against a really strong team.
Props on catching on though.

I switch thana each now and then with spirit fury, but I dont like running Dying light, the fact that the obsession is not affected by it is a huge drawback in my opinion, not that its a bad perk, I just dont like it.
I also consider enduring a necessity on legion, because it allows you to reduce the stun from frenzy by getting hit by a pallet.
Anyways, thanks for the advice, I will take it into account.

It’s okay to hook your obsession or even slug them if you have to, but I understand Dying Light isn’t for everyone.
Either way, here is a game from about an hour ago that I had as Legion with the recommended build, cheers 🍻

Which perk do you consider to be the best on legion?

I mean yeah, Ruin and Surveilance work well together and any killer running that combo will do well honestly

lol not when its cleansed first 15 seconds like it normally is. Its a dead perk.

obviously, but that is just the inherent risk of hex perks

discordance.. minimum 2 potential hits for frenzy

Well… depends on survivors you play against and a map you play in. On maps like The game or Lerrys, it might be good, but on other maps? I don't know chief… You would have better use with Thana, Dying Light, or PGTW. I still think that using simply Discordance instead of Ruin+ Surveillance would give better effect because it would show where half of their team is, because "red ranks" still repair one gen together.
Also while yes, they lose some progress while mending etc, it's still does too little to be really effective.
Also at this point argument like "but look at ranks. It works in red ranks!" is nowadays invalid. I've seen how some "red ranks" play and, chief, I'm sorry for true red ranks survivors.
BUT, if you find it effective. Go ahead, use this build, no one should be able to stop you to play like that. Each player has their own playstyle

I mean, its really good and helps you apply pressure
and doesnt die in the first minute of the game, but it does not make gens regress.0 -
I tried ruin and surveillance with overcharge and tinkerer's, playing as Demigorgon on Lery's and they STILL popped gens fast. They never cleansed ruin until the exit gate was open and I never got to use overcharge because of ruin.
The problem was they would let the gen cook down to 0 THEN start working on it because it wouldn't show up on surveillance. And even with tinkerer's, once it triggered, by the time I Traversed there the gen would pop. It was frustrating...
