Take the Pig MORE Seriously
In previous posts i have said many times that t-bagging doesn't bother me at all, but i just love it when surviors don't take the pig seriously.
They think they're soo clever, but really they're not. The Pig is really friggin fast and you don't want her to Reverse Bear Trap that face of yours, now you can't get out. Good job!
T-bag any killer you want, they don't have any skills to cripple you to the point of impossible escape, but t-bagging my lil Piggy has huge consequences. Just let me crouch give me a sec to Ambush ya.
And im so on pursuit ya can't shake me, cause im fast as fuk boi
And once i put a bear trap on ya, you can kiss escape goodbye cause i wont give ya a chance to take it off. Then i'll Mori on you for fun,

Lol survivors who tbag are idiots. I play survivor all the time and NEVER tbag because its 1. ######### 2. Can get you killed(I saw another random do this) 3. It doesnt make you "cool". And yes, the pig is pretty Damn good for a killer.1
-
I take Pig as seriously as a mid tier killer.

Why should they take the Pig more seriously when the RBTs don't even become an active threat until the Survivors decide they do?

Lol i still remember when somebody tried to limp to n exit only to have the trap go off, it was funny

When does the RBT become an active threat, instead of something you may have to remove at some point during the game? Right, when Survivors decide to finish repairing a generator. Oh, but you can see all the box auras, so it's really no problem. Just Sprint Burst on to one of them, find the key on the first or second try, boom, done. If you get really unlucky, you may have to search three or even four boxes with the full knowledge that you're not in any real danger because this is a Killer whose power is literally designed not to harm you unless you're braindead.

No, I win quite consistently with her. My problem is having a Killer power literally designed not to harm Survivors, as if the game wasn't already easy enough for them.
Cue "her real power is the ambush".

Main purpose of RBTs are to slow down gen rushing, and they do that job pretty well. Timer needs to last long and boxes need to be shown because it can turn into a "free" mori, although i would rather see boxes auras only when trap timer is running. Also if timer was shorter tunneler/box patrol pigs would turn RBTs into a safer mori.

I wouldn't mind the timer if they'd start counting down immediately, instead of when a generator is repaired. As it is now, either the timer needs to be shorter, or it needs to count down immediately. Keep in mind that the timer doesn't count down when the person is in a chase, so "tunnelers" (i.e.: chasers who focus on the weaker target) and box patrollers would just waste their time accomplishing nothing. Hell, there's 4 boxes by default, and the Pig has no idea where the key actually is, so unless they can be in four places at the same time, this is a moot point.

Yeah but the pig can always crouch so the survivor is no longer in a chase and timer keeps running. I'm not saying that it's a smart tactic, but happens, and when that happens you gotta accept your fate no matter what you do.

4 boxes, each with an equal chance of having the right key. This means the Pig would have to be at four map locations simultaneously, while also keeping every other Survivor from repairing generators (because 2 minutes and 30 seconds is a lot, assuming they've repaired a single generator after she got an RBT on someone) so as not to completely throw the game just to guarantee that one kill. It's arguably a worse tactic than camping, and camping is already ######### unless the Survivor reward it.

They might remove them, but you still win the game because those traps slowed down the gen thing, giving you more time to kill them. They also work "as" Blood Warden.

I’m sorry that I don’t have the communication skills to effectly have a constructive conversation with you. And I’m also sorry if I came off combative initially. When I stop to summarize what it is that’s bothering me here, that’s what I’m sorry for.
I’d rather just be able to explain my perspective, and hear yours and have it be civil. But I feel even when communicating with you in a civil manner, i read you as combative. I’m not sure if this thread is the appropriate place to have this conversation, but I’d rather respond then ignore you. Maybe I just need to apply a softer tone to your posts.

While I LOVE Piggy, I do have a couple problems with some of her mechanics (which I have stated in more then one of these posts).
The fact that all the add-ons the effect the search time for Jigsaw Boxes or skill checks are useless. Same with ones that debilitate one with the RBT with afflictions. All totaled over half of her add-ons have no real effect on her gameplay.
Also I feel like her Ambush charge should function more akin to Wraith's new coming out of cloak, with a delay on the sound of the charge building.
My final issue stems from the fact the boxes themselves can spawn right next to each other. Now a couple here and there aren't that bad, but when all but one of them spawn next to each other on Wrecker's Yard, there's an issue lol.1 -

I agree with Orion. RBTs are meant to slowdown the match. Of course they have the ability to kill survivors, otherwise there wouldn't be a point to take them off, but it doesn't mean they should kill effectively.1

The pig was definitely rushed out.. you can see it in her addons... the fact that theres 2 addons mixed up..... really? How much of a hurry were they in? I know people are not perfect but simple stuff like that shouldn't happen... also I like the idea of applying effects to the RBT'S but honestly they are a limited power so that blindness, mangled effect is gone after the traps are gone... why not put more addons towards her ambush? An addon too increase the distance, speed, why not also make an addon that makes it to where survivors have to be within so many meters to see the boxes.....? Make an addon that works like tinkerer when a RBT is removed have her TR go to 0 for so many seconds..... why not make an addon like what Billy has? Slightly reduces time to crouch and reduces charge time and cooldown of ambush attack miss... so many things they could have done..0

I've seen multiple times when pig's trap gone-off. but she had to interrupt survivor few times from doing box and have a big or complex map (swamp or Myers map) so that there is space.
I've seen people suicide at gates because pig used noed and blood warden + put 2 traps on the t-bag survs
I rescued the poor lad from hook, but he didn't manage to find the hatch in time because he went for key-box but stumbled onto miss piggyps: did you know, if you point at miss piggy when she crouches to you, you can get tunneled?
