Multiple games. Multiple killers who have given up.

I was playing survivor, in case there was a need for clarification. Never have I seen so many killers who are not even playing to win. That results in some boring games. Your game needs some help devs.

When I go afk mid-game, I either stand in front of an exit gate switch or down in the basement. Either way, I face a wall. They may try running around me a bit, as is evident from the scratch marks, but they usually give up quicker.

You can't really blame the killers who do just give up. Hell, I've done it a few times because it just gets so frustrating that no matter what, you've got the most altruistic survivors going. Not to mention the fact they know it and will stand taunting you at every moment they get. Some matches I just try to farm as much points as I can, but when you know that the games gone south, why even try to beat them?

It doesn't take much skill to loop most killers for 2 or 3 gens at the start. It just takes map knowlege and teammates doing gens. Tiles are too safe and numerous for good survivors. You can't mindgame a jungle gym to actually get a hit when the survivor is positioned correctly. You can force an early pallet drop and zone them, but then you just repeat the process on a map like Thompson House if they path correctly on the pallet break. I'm seeing this in my survivor games too. Killers rightfully feel frustrated when their killer is balanced around whether the survivor messes up or not and whether the survivors choose to actually do their objective or not. The games would be over even quicker if every survivor took the best survivor perk in the game (Kindred).

Maybe today I'll try playing hide-and-seek as Piggy on Yamaoka. Whoever finds me wins a helmet.

Where are the survivor mains? They should’ve rushed into this thread to troll by now. And yes to all above comments.

If its a bad game i just open the exits and then go to the basement. That way the match will end and they can have there 2 minutes of fame.

If I’m gonna do that I use Myers and never stalk. I can still try to get jump scares for fun. The second the survivor team is super try hard I’ll go find my hiding spot. Not that depipping gives you any fairer matchmaking. Rank 16s face red rank survivors with the maps and objectives stacked against them. If you ever gave me rank 12-9 survivors I’m gonna 4K then for sure. Thankfully that’s not a thing.

My friends and I can usually fiddlefuck around and meme with each other and still pound gens out. I don't blame killers for running to the basement to hide when 3 gens pop in 2 minutes. :/

About 80% of survivor matches I've had, I just end up feeling bad the killer. Even when they play well, gens just pop and pop like its nobodies business.

    @ocafghanistan I’m with you.

I can take a loss but you better believe in getting my points. Sometimes I have even snowballed when I thought I had lost. Lol

I'm a little confused on what these people are seeing, because I'm just seeing ######### killers tunneling the hell out of one guy at the start of the game over and over and over. Usually Huntresses because "Look at me, I can pretend I'm not tunneling and hit you from halfway across the map". Instead of giving up, because "muh Ruin", they just try to make the game as unfun as possible to give themselves enjoyment.

Literally tempted to quit this game because of how much worse killers have gotten since the Ruin change, even though it really wasn't that bad. I was already taking extended breaks because I started playing Ark. It's really getting to that point though where it's gonna be a permanent one.

Yeah, I think I got one of these myself, today. Not long into the match the Demo just seemed to give up. He led me to a gen to work on and wasn't interested in farming. I wasn't there to see what caused it, if anything. Made me sad. I tried to offer to let him hook or even kill me, but he wasn't interested.

I rarely have fun survivor games. Either I get tunneled out first thing or I get a killer who for whatever reason presents no challenge. That's not really a game, more like two sides of the same pit-of-misery coin. Ya know, people often get paid for taking part in psychology experiments.

It's not just the ruin nerf as much as you might want to think it is here is a question if the devs worded the ruin change different do you think killers would be so pissed off about it, i.e we are changing ruin as we are looking into how to adjust things like how fast gens get done, toolboxes, killers and maps but to be able to gather the data we need we had to change ruin. Ruin was making it hard to collect the data as it made a lot off things random i.e skill checks by changing ruin we are now able to collect the data we need to make these changes? but we got we are changing it because it was to hard on survivors to hit a skill check or find a totem which one do you think would off sounded better to everyone.

Then to make things worse they want to look into other slow down perks, atm its just killers are over it with them nerfing something soon as survivors complain about it. I'm waiting for them to nerf DR with the amount off people that complain about him.

So why shouldn't killers make the game unfun when the devs/survivors are making it unfun for killers and the devs are showing no sign off giving a ######### about killers and the experience they have as long as survivors are happy.

I had several games recently where it typically began with 1 gen done after the first down, and 1-2 more gens done after the second down. But that's normally the turning point, because 2 people are on hooks and at least one needs to unhook. Now either find that guy still doing gens, or the other one to force the 4th off the gens. And then you got a game.

But the problem then is, once you do any mistake and lose your pressure, the game is over. If you constantly stay in chases and push people off gens, they are all busy and the lat 2 gens are harder to finish. Of course depending on which gens are left and map size. But I also had enough matches where survivors get super altruistic, thinking "we got the 5 gens so quick, all 4 of us need to escape or it would be a loss" and swarming around you, resulting in a 3k.

So if the game itself isn't frustrating by itself, I rarely let gen pops ruin my fun
