I met a racist player in the game.
I played the game as doctor. Got 3k, got a pip. After the game the survivor added me to a ps4 message group and said that "I should learn how to play killer etc..etc.." . I tunneled a survivor for the first hook. After that, instead of doing generators they tried to rescue him, so I got a lot of m1 hits. No problem there.
The problem is that he said to me: "makak0 de mierda"
It translates to "Piece of ######### monkey"
That is a racist slang. To whom I should report the player? To PSN or to BHVR?

Chat offences on Consoles are handled differently then they are on Steam - you need to report to Sony, they handle them on PSN not us.

I know you are brazilian, cause i receive a lot of those offenses from spanish countries in South America. So ill answer in pt-br the steps you must take to ban the offensor in ps4 network:
1 - Selecione a mensagem ofensiva
2 - Aperte options
3 - Selecione "reportar mensagem"
4 - Selecione "este conteúdo não devia estar na Playstation Network"
5 - Este conteúdo contém assédio por etnia ou raça;
6 - Confirme que quer reportar e não apenas bloquear o usuário;
7 - Não precisa adicionar detalhes. Apenas confirme o report.
8 - após reportado, pode então optar por bloquear o ofensor.
9 - saia da conversa.
Now, back to English, dear countrymate...
Remember: never answer an offense with another offense. I just write "offense reported" and then i report it. If you swear back, you will lose your reason.
Its very sad how ppl in South America like to aim against brazilians. Do that, and he will never again bore you, cause racist offenses = ban. He will lose his account forever.
And then you can feel justice was done.

@SekkerCenobite , just do what i told you to do. Report. The mods from ps4 network will decide if it was a bannable racist offense or not. But you made your part.
And other ppl who gets offenses from all kinds (gender, color, country, etc), aways report. Help making your game network a better place.

If you cant understand without an explanation, you wont understand at all. Maybe one day with a person you love or with yourself there will be a "just message" or "just words" that will make you understand the suffering of racist harrassment. But its just a maybe, anyway. I know a lot of ppl that prefers to kick away a "gay" son then supporting then against "just messages" along his life that can drive a person into mental sickness.
Just keep your mindset. Or search about "nazism marketing" to learn how "just messages" can justify 5 million deaths.

Yeah, cause "there always hasnt been these kind of messages in the gaming community?" is not a valid argument. The "it has aways been done like this" is used by centuries to keep slavery legal, women under oppresion, gays without rights, etc.

Saying something in real life is different than saying something on social media or videogames. You shouldnt take those messages too seriously.

But we dont use the word "monkey" in latin america to refer negatively to black people, its just a way of calling someone dumb or an idiot.

There has and many people still report it because it isn't something a person should say to another because they think they'll get away with it.
