Thanking the minority
For those of you that thank the killer or just wish them a gg thank you guys so much.
For a role that is so under powered at the top ranks and even learning and being bullied at the bottom, you make some killers want to play you guys again.

Yeah its nice when I have a close match and end up getting 2 - 4 kills and no one is salty. It feels good to talk about how the match went on my side and hear how it went for them. It usually turns my mood around if it was sour from other games. Thanks to those who do it because its a very pleasant surprise and a nice break from the usual toxic post-game chat.

2019: saying "thank you" to the bus driver
2020: saying "thank you" to the killer

I always use to say gg, whether its a killer or survivor. i also never t-bag,click flashlights, camp or tunnel yet the replies i get are quite rude and unpleasant so after 2years i stopped saying anything and turned messages off, id rather not communicate with teammates or the killer before, during or after due to peoples toxic nature.

^Just turn off chat. There is literally a button you can hide chat permanently.

^ He just said he turned messages off so I mean...

Red rank survivors bully green rank killer during match, teabag their way out the exit gates.
GG in postgame chat.
Okay then.

It's a game.
You hooking and killing Survivors doesn't mean you hate the person playing them.
Likewise just because the Survivors mess around or tbag in-game doesn't mean they're trying to be hateful or rude.
1 -
Teabagging kind of does. Its a rude gesture and its done to taunt someone when you do it. Ergo Rude.
5 -
It's also how you say "Thank you" and "Goodbye", according to some Survivors.
Survivors only have 3 means of communication; tbagging means a lot of things depending on context and the person tbagging.

When they are sitting at the exit gates tea bagging and running around like chickens I know what that context tells me.

A lot of people (me included) are quite simply used to saying GG almost automatically after a match unless there was a straight up cheater in it or something. That's how it has been in most games I've played throughout my life.
If someone thinks "no, it was bg" in their mind when they see someone say GG they can simply not respond. If they look even more deeply into it and think it's some sort of ironic bait/mockery then.. well, in the vast majority of cases they simply think it's deeper than it really is. Most people would just use ggez or something if they really want to be trolls.

Anytime π I love a good chase as survivor and killer I never teabag or click flash lights or even bring items most of the time I want a fun and challenging game like everyone should do, we play for fun at the end of the day no point being toxic :)

Thats why I personally always attach a message to my GG.
Like: "GG, rough map for killers.", "GG, not many pallets on that side.", "GG, you got the unlucky window spawn."
Just to let the other side know that I am not mocking, and thank them for not ragequitting, because some matches can be really rough.

Suit yourself. If people just say GG and nothing more and you choose to look deeper into it than that you're only setting yourself up for unnecessary annoyance and frustration if you ask me.

I usually gg killer unless he commit to a long chase and then facecamp me.
Its the team I dont gg. There are a lot of scumbags terribly and flame the killer when Im like βdude I saw you playing lol hows that even killers faultβ
i saw the other day a 3 man premade flamin a trapper for placing too much traps(which wasnt even true cause he wasnt that strong of a trapper and didnt even place many traps to begin with)

Not gonna lie, for a while I thought it meant "git gud" so it confused me. Too much Dark Souls, I guess π

When done after a vault or pallet drop, it is to mock and taunt. When done after a blind and you see them in the distance, it is again to mock.
Just to clarify that most teabagging I see is not a friendly gesture. Then again, it usually is done under the pretense of false confidence and shortly followed up with a hook.

Not going to lie every time I get those survivors that say "gg" or "wp" it's a surprise, and makes me smile.
0 -
I say gg wp no matter how the match went or how angry I am

What's common is a survivor complaining about how I played. What is super rare is when another survivor in that same room defends me.

Had a nice killer the other day that offered streamers and always played fair and said "gg wp" despite having a kinda rough game. I really appreciate the few nice killers and survivors left in this game and want them to know that.

I end all matches with a "gg. Gl hf" - no matter what role I'm in.
The post chat box is worthless for any other reason other than for good sportsmanship.

Had a round the other day where I started kinda crappy but then obliterated them as Hag and said "gg, you guys had me sweating" and was greeted with a "go f yourself" but then I had a round as survivor where it was a newer killer or someone learning Nurse (rank 17 only two perks, one green one yellow and both green add-ons) and the entire team, all in green and yellow ranks, said gg and gave encouraging words. Guess what rank the salty survivor reply was? Yep, red.

If I know the killer was doing poorly, I usually teach them how to play the killer, I played every single killer, as in mained, so I can help someone learn a killer
