Killer Should Get Big Points For Letting The Last Survivor Open The Gate
And then you strike them into dying state, and hook them.
This gives that last survivor a lot of hope that you are a friendly killer, just to take it all away in that same moment. The entity would feed greatly off that one exchange. By that fact alone the Killer should get big points for doing this.

It's pretty much the same as bringing the survivor to the hatch just to close it in front of them. Not necessary at all, just a dick move.

The survivor still gets points for opening the gate, about 1250 I think, while survivors don't get any from killer closing hatch
I really don't understand what this community believes is toxic, I just think of it as its REAL reason

You realize the survivor can double pip and die right? You realize that the killer is giving you points to your objective by letting you open the gate right? You realize that is at the cost of iri gatekeeper emblem right? You realize that it's not the killer's job to ensure you have a fun game right?
See this is the exact entitled survivor mentality ruining this game in the long run.

Calling you entitled because you think it's the killers job to make sure you have fun - which it's not.
Makes sense for the lore of the game this would grant you points, other than that - nothing else matters. Not the killers job to pander to you.

They do get points for the killer closing the hatch (or more specifically, the EGC starting). It's 250 bloodpoints and called "Pressure".

The killer's objective is to prevent survivors from doing theirs. Letting a survivor open an exit just to kill them immediately after not only is a dick move, but also hurts the killer's own objective since you get a big bonus to the Gatekeeper emblem by preventing the gates from being opened.
I'm not saying the killers should ensure that the survivors have fun but deliberately ruining it is also not good at all.

The points argument is a bit moot since opening gates gives them in objective category which are super easy to cap, unless the game has been an insane snowball from the start or the last survivor was afk in lockers most of the game anyone who reaches the opening switch either has them caped or dont deserve any extra BPs.

I didn't say it was toxic. I said I think it's rude. Especially the way you originally pitched the idea. The majority of things people claim to be toxic aren't. I have no problem for instance with a killer tunneling or camping when it's done strategically. I do when they are just trying to ruin somebody else's game.

If you ask me any action any player makes during EGC in general should reward more points. Sorta like the "Late Sacrifice" bonus and the general increase in altruism gain at endgame (that's still in the game, right? 😄)
Specifically giving a bonus for hits and downs the killer gets in/near an open gate sounds cool as a general rule as well, and I guess that's sorta related to your idea.
