Do you think that BP earnings should increase ?

Do you think that the amount of BP you earn should be increased with all the perks for new players and players still upgrading, it makes for a very lengthy process getting all the perks for your killers and survivors especially when they’re only going to keep adding more perks and killers making you have to play this game absurd amount to do so.

No it’s fine how it is

I accidentally clicked on "No it's fine how it is". I meant to click on Mixed. My reasoning behind this is that, while I can definitely see a struggle for newer players to earn the perks that they feel are necessary for their style of game play, and DbD has never really been entirely new-player friendly.

I take a neutral standing in this because of the various ways to obtain large amounts of bloodpoints. There's rift missions to consider, which can give you 15k - 60k depending on the tome that you'll be on, these missions are limited, yes, but they can still give you a hefty amount of Bloodpoints. Dailies can give you an alright chunk as well, though it's not my favorite way to earn bloodpoints, it is a method.

And last but not least, of course you can always earn BP by playing the game normally, which can be pretty time consuming. But there's many factors to this, I think that you can generally find perks that will last you a long time, if not become a part of your main build even with just having two or three character's teachables unlocked. There's some strong perks to be had with just the few main characters available. Adrenaline, Sprint Burst, Iron will, BT etc. and if you have some of the DLC characters it can be even more rewarding; Lithe, Dead hard, DS, etc. You can setup a pretty solid build with just a few perks, and by the time the build you're using gets stale you will probably have enough Bloodpoints to proceed further through your bloodwebs.

However in short, while I think it wouldn't be a bad idea to allow increased earning in Bloodpoints, I also don't think it's all that bad depending on the style of a new players game play. I think an interesting thing that BHVR could do to make it more new player friendly, is maybe give all new accounts a double bp boost for a certain amount of games, and or a certain amount of time/days. I wouldn't be opposed to that either.

I believe that both bloodpoints and ir shards should be increased. Not by a big amount tho. Like a small change to how many new players should get, which should be increased. For 50 lvls get at least 50% more. As for shards,I would argue either be rewarded with some after game or challenges should also give shards (like mobile) and tomes.

They way the grinding system is might have been acceptable when there were like 12 characters total (both sides combined).

Its not acceptable now when theres now almost 40 characters.

I think the current earnings are fine how they are, but then again good items and fully upgraded perks (like all the super rare and ultra rare things) are actually the most common and common items are the rarest. It's fun to have fast progress but thinking of it game-wise I think it should be slower.

Yes but as a buisness they can't sacrifice player retention and the incredible grind is important in that context.

I don't think changing the maxim amount from 32.000 to 40.000 would change the grind so much and it would be nice.

The fact that you have to buy a single perk 4 times to buy the same perk 3 more times per character to get the full use out of it on the character you want to use it on is ludicrous.

It most definitely needs to increase. While the survivors are all basically skins of each other, minus a few details, killers are not. At ~1200 hours, I have 2 survivors completed (because I swapped mains) and only 4 killers. (None of the killers have every perk, but they have "all" the perks I would use on them.) That still leaves a long time before the rest of the killers are done...let alone the survivors.

For people who want to play all different sorts of killers, it's just unreasonable to require that much time dedicated to one game. While they have changed how many perks per bloodweb you can get now, (40+) it's still not enough with the amount of perks available.

More BP per game by way of removing the 8k category limit and by removing the 75% and 50% category BP Offerings so the 100% category Offerings can be lowered to Uncommon rarity.

They 50% and 75% ones are useless unless you have no BP offerings and they take up lots of space in the Bloodwebs.

I would have agreed, but recently we got the archives, which gives us a lot a new points to make, so I guess it's better now.

I'd say it should be lowered. 30k from 1 daily, 25k from tome 2 (or something around this number), and around 15-20k per game if you dont die at start and do something. Dont need to be perfect player, just dont stay and afk or roam around map without purpose. Also BP boosts like streamer thing (100% BP to everyone - i used this as killer, and get around 60k from this match ONLY, without quests etc) or lesser ones are also good to use if you would go without anything in that slot.

In few weeks i leveled up 1 killer and 2 survivors to 50 lvl. If it would be any faster then i would end up leveling 1 surv/killer to 50 in 2 days and that would be insane.

I can sympathize with "i want level that new surv perks NOW, not after 10 games, but like NOW", but increasing it would make whole system pointless. If you can level up character to 40 lvl in 1 day, then they could also just unlock all perks, bcs everyone would have all perks without any dedication to achive that. That would be wrong... bcs what would be the point of this system? Yup, there would be no point in that, so they could just unlock all for free at start :P.
