Up ranking way too easy as surv and it is making my games miserable
Out played, out-thought, out-classed
I dont belong in purple rank surv where i am facing nothing but people who are far better than me. I know what it takes to get to purple killer. I am one. But as surv i am nowhere near that level and it is making my games just not fun. Dying every single game. Mind games dont work. Lots of slugging to get the last so they can have their 4k knowing we are sheep. This is bullshit.
So i just put the game down for a few months? Last break i took was a year long. Maybe it is time to do it again.
Killer game is ######### and a sweaty affair to get just one sometimes and now the surv game is ######### too.

Wait, you actually get Purple Killers in Purple Ranks? I only get Brown Killers in Purple Ranks. Who let you have the good match making?

I understand your frustration but I think you are missing the benefits of being a purple ranked survivor.
1-You generally get paired with better teammates. Which makes the games play better and be more enjoyable. Your teammates in purple ranks have the same skill level as you, possible less since you have a pretty good killer rank and objectively understand what your opponent is trying to do.
2-The time of day you play really determines how skilled your killer will be. Play in the late evening and you'll face yellow and green rank killers pretty often.
3- You que up the best in green/purple ranks since matchmaking tries to pair you with a purple killer then moves to green then to yellow. Red Rank Survivors have to que red then purple then green then yellow so they'll spend more time trying to que up against killers that are already in matches.
I think you're in the best rank in the game on the survivor side. And yes, killer is too frustrating to play in the new speedy meta.
