How come Survivors can GO through the exit gates with them on and not die like it says on skill itself???
This makes no Sense ... Is it a bug?

That must be a bug, they are not supposed to be able to exit via gates with a trap on

Its happened more than once to me yesterday ...

they should die when they escape with it lol , maybe icon got glitched

Did you place them in the gate? If they run out they'll die it's always worked that way.. but you place them too far into the exit they wont die they'll just crawl out..0
