Calm spirit, do you use it?
For you @McLightning
Calm spirit, a complete DENIED on doctor, infectious fright, Freddy's traps (for detection) and others. It's really underated tbh and since I see many docs around, I'll think I'll equip it for good measure 😏
Do you use it? Let me know down below.

Nope not immersed and I want to hear my survivor scream(yes, even Steve...)

I like Jane's, Dwight's and Claudette's moan for some reason xd

(I actually didn't know it worked on Infectious)
Calm Spirit is one of those perks I always had in my "rotation" of perks. I use it every once in a while. It almost never gets any actual use, but when I go against a Doc or a Clown, it makes me feel like superman.

No.

I want to, but i rarely find room in my kit for it. Crows actually give a lot of information to killers if they are looking for it.

Oh, you're approaching me? Instead of running away you come straight at me

YES. I love to use it against Infectious Fright. I can still try for a flashlight blind, since nobody screamed they let their guard down.

I’ve been using it since doc rework. Totally worth it if u face doc, otherwise kinda wasted but there’s lots of doctors atm.

Lots of Doctors, sure, but there are also many killers using Infectious Fright.
It doesn't have anything to do with being immersed. It has everything to do with not getting compromised moving in for unhooks or flashlight saves.

I mean, it counters Doctor, Infectious, Clown and Freddy to an extent...Iron Maiden as well.
Literally everything that makes you scream.

I tried it for a bit, it doesn't seem that great 9 times out of 10. But that 1 time it can be life saving. So I just don't run it to be honest. Being useful in about 1 out of 10 games...is enough for me to dislike it.
I don't find the doctor all that threatening, at least not threatening enough to run it. Usually it's the killers who have infectious fright that I'm more worried about. Because it's usually something like Slug Billy, or the Plag herself.
As a killer I don't find it to be very annoying to go against either. So there is that too.

Right but I don't quick save either.

No one said that was the case - terror radius can be very large, especially with Doctor.

Right and killers have been downright annoying lately with IF wanting to snowball all the time. So annoying and frequent I tend to put Calm Spirit on my bar now.

If the TR is that large aren't I far away from the hook?

Eh, it's not really annoying. It's how they have to play. They have no early game potential anymore unless they play Hillbilly or Freddy, really. So they two choices - late game plays, or slug snowballing.
You can't really blame them.

I use it on my Jake as part of my healer build for him. It's insanely handy against Doc, and any killer with Infectious Fright, and even Iron Maiden. The amount of Docs I've outsmarted simply because they couldn't pin me down with their static blast.

I like to run it in for one of my stealthy meme builds, along with Lucky Break, Quick and Quiet, and Iron Will

And that's why gens need to get rushed - a killer can snowball at any moment, especially in solo Q.

Yes, keep telling yourself that.

I don't need to keep telling myself that I see it all the time.

I use it a lot!
I'm acutely aware of crows, both as killer and survivor, so not disturbing them is a huge benefit in my book. You can locate crouching killers with them and make educated guesses about where survivors may be hiding by watching them land.
Not only that, Calm Spirit works great with Iron Maiden, Doc in general, Infectious Fright, etc., and people tend to regard it as less 'toxic' than many other survivor perks, so it isn't as inflammatory to run. Plus, it's always in effect rather than situational (as opposed to perks that rely on being injured, for example, or exit gates powering)
