Prologue

Welcome to the Remastered series where I change things that are weak or strong to something fun and balanced. The goal of this series is to not make something OP, weak and vice versa; the goal is to keep something strong while having counterplay. 😁

Since we're looking at LF (LF = Leather Face), let's have at it.

Notice: Numbers are just placeholders, don't take them seriously — focus on the idea rather than the numbers.

Leather Face

Bubba's Chainsaw

• Bubba's Chainsaw now has a power meter to show the remaining duration of your chainsaw swing. This is not a cool-down meter, it's just there to tell you when your chainsaw swing is about to end.
• Charging Bubba's Chainsaw is exactly like charging Billy's Chainsaw. Holding the power button charges the chainsaw and releasing the power button will cause the charge meter to rapidly deplete.
• Chainsaw swing can be cancelled by pressing the attack button.
• Chainsaw swing will have a 5 second duration.

Secondary Ability: Rampage

• Bubba's Chainsaw will have a secondary ability during a chainsaw swing: Rampage. While you have tokens, press the active ability button to activate Ramage. Once you activate Ramage, you cannot deactivate Rampage until you cancel your chainsaw swing or until your power meter fully expires.
• You receive tokens by downing survivors with Bubba's Chainsaw. Each health state worth of damage you do with Bubba's Chainsaw is worth a token. You cannot gain tokens while Rampage is activated.
• Upon activating Rampage, a token is consumed and Bubba's Chainsaw can destroy windows and pallets that aren't dropped. Doing so automatically cancels the chainsaw swing.
• While Rampage is active:
• —Colliding with an object will not cause you to enter a tantrum, you will continue your chainsaw swing.
• —If your power meter depletes while Rampage is active, a token is consumed and the power meter is refreshed and you continue to chainsaw swing.
• —Rampage also allows you to destroy pallets without your chainsaw swing getting cancelled.
• Rampage can have a maximum of 2 tokens.

Add-ons

Bubba's Chainsaw

• Decreases the charge time by 10% (Uncommon)/20% (Rare).
• Rampage grants a 3% (Common)/6% (Uncommon)/9% (Rare) movement speed increase.
• Increase Rampage's maximum tokens by 1 (Rare)/2 (Very Rare) tokens.
• Increase the duration of chainsaw swing by 2 (Rare)/4 (Very Rare) seconds.
• Survivors damaged by your chainsaw will suffer a 10% (Uncommon)/20% (Rare) repair speed penalty until they heal.
• Survivors damaged by your chainsaw will suffer a 10% (Uncommon)/20% (Rare) healing penalty towards other survivors until they heal.
• Each token of Rampage decreases your terror radius by 4 (Common)/8 (Uncommon) meters.

Ultra Rare

Your chainsaw swing is not cancelled when you destroy a window or a pallet that's not dropped.

Ultra Rare

You can now gain Rampage tokens while Rampage is activated.

Epilogue

Hopefully, LF will become a force to be reckoned with and be a close range threat. He should succeed at close range at the cost of having poor mobility, this should be the thing that separates Bubba from Billy.
