Are we gonna do something about survivors' turning speed?
Okay, I tried as many ways to have less problems with it as possible. But I've just played as the Legion. I just couldn't hit that one Nea with my Frenzy attack! Not a simple attack, frenzy one. If you played as the Legion you know that if you'll lunge your frenzy attack, it lasts hella long, you can even get someone from afar. But for some reason I missed hits in less than a second because that Nea just kept spinning with such a speed the game probably just assumed it was like a dead hard speedboost or something. I couldn't even turn around to hit her, normally I would be able to do so, but the game had already decided I missed for good. Missing with a frenzy attack is really bad because your power goes to 0 and you have to go through the stun.
I brought up ShadowBorn to see people spinning and, my god, they just dissapear. I know everything seems a little bit faster when you use this perk but trust me survivors dodge those attacks as if they were blue hedgehogs running around the map. Open spaces are no longer the most dangerous places for survivors, in fact, not having walls around allows you to spin as much as you can. It becomes just annoying, I have to throw my mouse into the wall to just try getting that hit! (Even that Nea agreed in the postgame chat that there is definitely an issue with survivors' flick.)

i mean... i guess if we slow down survivor turning, it would make it easier to moonwalk i guess.

I’m main legion and I do fine this an issue. Survivors can easily fast spin and it causes you the miss and you’re punished badly for it just seem ridiculous.

Surviviors should be able to spin as fast as they want.
What I dont like, that survivior spinning make Animation Enhancement go "imma hit the wall instead" and you cant do anything about it. Dedicated servers make it even worse.
Devs, just give us an option to switch off the Animation Enchancement in the settings!
This will completely fix this problem and help a bit with some others, for example "the Hook Tech"

I think the bigger problem here is that the dedicated servers are ######### us over and making the swing hit something else. It's worse on console because of the lower sensitivity. Fix those two problems first and then we can see if it's really the turn speed or not.

Console player?
I play PC and have no issue keeping up (though I don't play legion so I can't speak for that) but regular 360ing doesn't bother me at all.
I've also played on Console. And that's MUCH harder as killer. But I also haven't put in as much time so I'm not an expert there as much as I am for PC.
If you are PC, a common counter is: once you figure out they are a 360er, wait an extra second and instead of lunging, simply m1. It's the lunge attack that allows the 360 to work because of the time between the lunge start and the weapon swing.

Legion's feral frenzy destroys your fps even with a boost mode ps4 pro, there's nothing you can do it about it.
Reboot the game, rebuild the database, play 720p,literally NOTHING works.
Survivors turning speed needs to be reduced on console or sensitivity should be higher and legion needs better fps, it is ridiculous.
Also remove the missing a hit you lose your ability

The problem on console, and specifically for legion is that survivors disappear they skip frames, it is really bad sometimes.
It is simply unfair

I disagree with the removal of "miss a hit lose your ability". As a PC gamer it is a good and balanced mechanic. But that is assuming that you aren't losing frames and having vanishing survivors. So. Instead of changing the perk. They should fix the actual problem.
I would HOPE that there is a killer look sensitivity that can be changed. Perhaps that will help? Sorry I can't be much help. Good luck!

Agreed 100%. Not only are 360s extremely easy to do, but they can be done multiple times and are effective. Lots of time wasted for killers from such a stupid easy strategy. Survivor turn speed can also lead to them getting fast vaults where they really shouldn't be getting them.

That's really sad. Killers should NEVER have to rely on Unrelenting to get hits. 360ing is a major problem.

Because we're playing Dead By Daylight, not Call of Duty. We shouldn't have to worry that much about aiming when we're talking about melee. Getting 360'd is the equivalent of missing due to jump spamming: Stupid strategy, highly effective.

NO. LEAVE THE GAME ALONE. Im a level 15 killer and i LEARNED how to hit juking survivors. Its EASY. Just get better.

I think 360s are dumb too. I know people say “its not a horror game yada yada” but the idea of someone spinning in a circle as fast as possible to avoid a hit from a knife wielding maniac just looks ridiculous.
That said it’s pretty much the only defence survivors have against Legion’s free hits so....

360's aren't an issue. Its the people who pretend to the 360 then flick the other way incredibly fast. I can literally be facing the survivor when I do it, swing, and since they turned so fast, aim assist thinks "oh survivor use Dead Hard, you hit air".
It'll completely cancel my lunge and I'm left thinking "but I wasn't done swinging yet.... 😔"

I used to never get caught by 360s on peer-to-peer. But now that the crappy dedicated servers are there, I constantly get aim-assist (or however you wanna call it) thinking I wanted to hit that tree, box, metal bar, chunk of air.
Litterally nothing positive coming out of those ######### servers.

I think we already have the whole collection of "AnimationEnhancement problems", and thats mostly from people who didnt even know it exists and blamed it on other things: Autoaim/AimAssist, broken hitboxes, dediated servers or even survivior spin speed, so its not a band of biased people raging about like when you nerfed ruin.
Devs, dont you think its about time you do something about it? Fix it, delete it, let players disable it, whatever.

I would rather miss a hit or two from a spinning survivor then go on a tour of pallet town. Not sure how survivors got it in their head that 360 is better then looping but I'm fine with it.

just wait until they are in the middle of it getting to a stopping point of the 360 if you just wait you will hit the survivors 100% I play both sides mostly survivor and when I 360 killers wait until I’m done then swing and if you know they 360 why do you keep lunging

Yeah 360 on console is just unfun to go against at this point you can not even lunge but still miss because of how poorly optimized it is for killer

I've never been screwed of an m1 due to spinning, but animation enhancement has cucked me on corners a few times. I play Billy and boy the phantom hits are real.

I'll say this once, as nicely as possible. You get one free pass for being 360'd. One. Per round.
If you get 360'd more than once in a round, you need to get better at killer. Once you know it's possible for a certain survivor to do it, it's incredibly easy to see coming.

That's not the case. My M1 attacks go just fine most of the cases. As the Legion I tried to use my ability on a healthy survivor, I was close, the survivor was close, I got it all and BAM, i missed as if the survivor used Dead Hard. I wasn't in the process of missing, my attack just refused to go on and my power went down because of it. I thought: "Well, okay, maybe it's really a one time thing!"... And then it REPEATED. I couldn't really use my power on the survivor unless there were some walls around.

I have to venture a guess that the people who don’t have trouble hitting survivors when they 360 are either on pc or not playing red rank survivors on console. I have done every “trick” that has been offered. “Just basic attack, don’t lunge” “wait to swing” “back up a bit and wait to swing” “look down a bit before you swing” None of them work since dedicated servers. Survivors actually disappear, sensitivity is too slow to track, and if there is anything other than a survivor nearby, I will hit that. I hit the stairs earlier while looking down them. The stairs. The. Stairs.

So you are essentially complaining....because you got juked? This is where we're at right now? "The survivors won't let me hit them, it's an issue." All they do is nerf survivors, I seriously doubt they will touch their mobility, and if they do God help us all with matchmaking.
This is exactly why people need to plan ahead. Also before anyone cries Legion is one of the main characters I use. Personally I don't strike unless I know the hit is lined up. Even so, sometimes you are going to miss, and it isn't the end of the world. This seems to be more of an issue of practice than anything, honestly.
These forums as much as I hate to admit it really do seem to have a lot of outlandish complaints by killers.

As someone who plays killer this game is painfully skewed in the killers favor which is why I think you see less and less survivors. As a killer people you have to have a game plan and CONTROL YOUR GAME. That is literally one of your main jobs. Seems a lot of the complaints on the forum seem to be just drivel made by those that essentially don't want to try to do anything.
"Take away keys, nerf this perk, nerf that perk but buff our perks and our moris and abilities. Make less pallets," blah blah blah I mean good grief. Might as well advocate for the game to be over as soon as you spawn in with the survivors. How about we add in a heart attack mechanic where a survivor sees you and just immediately dies? People need to get a grip and literally need to take the time to master a killer and accept the fact that at the end of the day you aren't going to kill everyone all the time.
They didn't cheat. They likely aren't using "unfair advantages." Just please play the game

No, you didn't get it right. I missed with a frenzy attack as if I was Dead Harded, I didn't even had a chance to turn around with my attack.

360 is for when you need to save a loop/pallet for later on in the game or when there is no loop, generally. Some people just 360 all the time but they got really good in order to be able to do that. It's not as simple as it looks, and a lot of it is reactionary, meaning the survivor has to actually move in reaction to the killer in the correct way at the correct time.
I've got 4k+ hours and 360ing still isnt butter even with a wired internet connection.

I personally don't have a problem with 360s, I rarely get auto aim problems. It does happen in like 1/10 matches but nothing really crucial

Again. Killers cant hit 360 not becaise they are bad, its bacause Animation Enhancement makes them miss.
And yes, good killers can hit 360s, but thats because they hit AFTER 360 ends. Hitting during 360 itself RNG based on latency, dedicated servers, broken hitboxes and AE. Too many things to account for.
