Who else runs BBQ 100%
So tonight I managed to get all perks at rank 3 on all my killers and cap at 1 millions BPs. I have all perks on Meg and Steve so I don’t “need,” blood points anymore.
Yes I still want them, stockpile addons for killers and survivors of course, but I don’t NEED double blood points. This is the first time in a long time I feel able to actually run without BBQ and I’m looking forward to it.
I never ran Tremors because it almost duplicates BBQ but without bonus BP for example.
Anyone else feel like they only have 3 perk slots on killer because of BBQ?

I don't feel that way at all. the information I get helps the snowball become even bigger as you can use it to find who's on a gen for you to stop. the BP is just a bonus.

I love the extra BP, so I use it 99% of the time. I have to be doing a special build to not use BBQ.

The only reason to play killer is for bbq blood points, otherwise i would play survivor.

The points are just too good to pass up. The auras are just a bonus 😁

I don't bother with it anymore. The extra BP is nice, but I'd rather use something else. I will only use it during double BP events.

The amount of bloodpoints to get perks you want in this game and the bloodpoints grind are ridiculous, I'll make sure to run BBQ all the time to get x2 bloodpoints, idc if I be able to see the aura or not.

It crutches your BP pot and is usually a helpful tracking perk.
My latest build is BBQ&C, Corrupt Intervention, Thrilling Tremors and Pop Goes The Weasel.

I am a Freddy main, it gives me information, free BP, aaaand sometimes the position of the hatch when the last survivor is camping near. Thank you guys, you give more BP so I can farm up quickier !

Same. I only play Oni on dailies as I haven't unlocked BBQ on him.
At least we have three slots to play with instead of two now that Ruin has gone.

Unless I'm using a killer with high mobility to take advantage of the aura reading, I don't use BBQ. I prefer Whispers over BBQ hands down. If not for the BP bonus I wouldn't even run BBQ on anyone but my Nurse.
Slightly off topic but I really think thrilling tremors would be an amazing perk if it just blocked ALL the gens. As it stands it just tells you which ones they aren't working on. It has a pretty long cd so I dont think it would be OP but every killer might run it. Thus leading to a nerf :P

As a survivor main I can tell you that 99.9% of the killers I go against use it. I think it's the best perk in the game on either side - why wouldn't killers run it all the time?

I use BBQ for the points so when I hook someone I just close my eyes for 5 seconds so survivors don’t think I can’t play without it.

I use it all the time for the BP and then towards the endgame the aura helps me prevent a hatch or put pressure on the gates.

I wish I had BBQ, I’d love the bloodpoints I’d get if I did. I just refuse to spend money on this game until matchmaking is fixed.
I am also hesitant to purchase Bubba since I’m 99% sure he’s next on the chopping block.

Just get it when its on the shrine. Leatherface's other perks aren't worth it anyways. Franklin's demise is basically just a griefing perk.Knockout is only worth taking if you're slugging a lot.

I constantly watching for it, but I haven’t seen it since I started in October. It is possible I missed it, but I don’t think I did. I hope it appears soon, I want to finish leveling up all of my killers and P3ing Trapper and Wraith.

Keep watching it’s definitely worth it but until then just use whatever offerings you have for bonus

Yeah, i pretty much always use it.
But i'm the 1% who actually really likes the Auras, i'd probably use it just as much without the +BP.
Unless the +BP would be applied to a different Perk, i'd have to think about that.

The aura can be nice on some killers, although I think the threat of BBQ makes a lot of survivors waste time jumping in lockers even if you don’t have BBQ. Also I don’t think a lot of survivors know the range and time of BBQ as they jump out of lockers after like 2 seconds so you still see them...

I use it on everyone i can. It's aura reading is hit or miss since it is easy to counter but you always get the bloodpoints.

If it wasn't for the bps i think whispers or even spies is far superior for tracking

Not since I got all perks on all the characters. I replaced` bbq on some of them with thrilling tremors

i use it for the BP and sometimes for the auras.
though i often find myself in a situation where i would really want to replace it with something else, yet i dont wanna miss out on the BPs (currently maxing out all my killers)...
so i basically use it all the time.

I use it more or less all the time to get the best addons for my killers, have all perks for all killers and have one survivor with all perks, so bloodpoints is not that important for me either, but get the best addons is great and BBQ is a great perk to find survivors so I will continue to use it a lot.

Watch survivors-mains use this thread to justify a nerf to BBQ to remove its aura-reading.

I do this too, I find if I use BBQ I earn enough points to get back the addons I used plus whatever else extra is in the web since one game generally is 60k which is enough for a full web

Yes. I hate feeling forced to use it all the time because otherwise I'd only get half the amount of progression I would with it.

You do realize tremors does more than that right? It actually stops them from working on a new gen as well. It gives you enough time to hook someone and then find another chase, something BBQ won’t do.
As I’m watching extremely high rank players create builds post Ruin nerf, bbq is rarely used.

My favorite was doing a daily with Bubba “of course easy when you use OP kill and those perks,” Again Bubba and the perks in question were BBQ, spies, distressing and Enduring which I guess you could say was my best perk but they dropped pallets early anyways
