DEVS PLEASE READ. ITS NERF TIME FOR TRAPPER
if you can place a trap in the grass that a survivor cant see , and they're looking for it and still get trapped , that is unbalanced gameplay. what can a survivor do. they creep to the hook but then SNAP get caught in a trap they literally couldn't see. this needs to end.

fun trapper nerf idea: make survivors able to go over traps with dead hard, so the trapper either gets caught in his own trap or has to pick it up. Although that might be a bit extreme honestly.

Fun trapper nerf idea: he can't carry more than one trap without add ons and injured survivors aren't downed by traps

In the bottom of your screen there will be an action option that you can see that will tell you that you can disarm the trap. Keep a keen eye on that part of the screen and don’t rush in.

You should avoid sprinting in the grass against a trapper, unless you know the area is safe. Especially near hooks, around pallet loops and across common survivor pathing spots around strong windows. A sensible trapper will always cut these off as soon as they have the opportunity to do so. Otherwise you're just taking a 50/50 gamble.

That is his only extra skill. and he has only a few amount of them in a big map. No nerf needed in my opinion. (I'm a survivor)

If you are supposed to see the notification while walking then there may be a bug. I've watched trappers place traps and gone to disable them. To find it in tall grass you need to step and stop to watch for the prompt. It does not always display while walking.
If that is how it supposed to be then leave it alone.

If you are sprinting high speed through tall grass with an active trapper and you step in a trap... you deserve it. You should know better.
Just like nimrods who go against a hag and insist on sprinting to a hooked survivor, full knowing a trap is probably right at their feet.

That is SO, overpowered! Devs, listen to him! Nerf Trapper! No survivor should have to use their eyes! That's just unfair! Like how no survivor should have to worry about skillchecks or about needing to actually try so we can win!

Fun trapper nerf idea: if the trapper wants to reset a closed trap A and he's already carrying a trap B he needs to set the trap B he's carrying then he has to pick trap A then he sets it again and after that he can take trap B.
Seriously, making him capable of resetting trap with traps in hand would be awesome

I thought Ruin needed an alternative and then they reworked it with no map/gen time changes... Trapper overpowered???? Just play trapper, yes I know killer sucks and you'll get red ranks as they don't have fun anymore but go and see how the traps are in the far corners of a huge map and by default you only carry one and... Just play him for a week, it's fun... unless you're playing against survivors who know what they are doing, or SWF on comms following him and telling the entire map where they are.... OMG! Please tell me I've been baited

There are 2 unfair about Traps, both Killer & Survivors
- RNG escape time, either 4sec or 60sec (unfavor to both side)
- Trap spawn too far and unable to carry 2 Traps (unfavor to Killer)

Bring a Rainbow Map with a map addon called Red Twine. It grants you the ability to track Killer's Belongings, so even Trapper's traps on the ground. Trapper actually need a serious buff.
