    Just remove grab from hatch, problem solved.

    Closing the hatch only extends the game, same as a hatch standoff (which is why the hatch is being changed in the first place).

    Killer finds Survivor or Survivor finds hatch, either way the game ends and you both move on to the next one.

    Well no i was just done but you still seem to be stuck on it since you keep replying. Just because you didnt review bomb the game doesnt mean anything you seem to be a survivor who would call any killer op just because they downed you once. I am done with this because it has drifted to far from what the main discussion was about if you feel like having the last quote go ahead im done with you. See you in the fog :)

    You have like 4 threads about "reworks" that are all literally just giving killers free kills.

    Putting a death timer on the survivor just means they die if the killer stands on the hatch. That's kind of dumb.

    Letting killer mori on last hook without an offering is also dumb. You can still get away if they pick you up on your last hook. Bodyblocking is a thing and so are flashlights. But if you could just 2 hook and mori everyone then it becomes a bit bogus for survivors. Makes tunneling all that much more effective, and it's already effective enough.

    Stop making threads with bias "suggestions".

    So your telling me that I can't make anymore threads that help BALANCE the game? Yeah, your just being rude and you just want a spoon-fed escape. However, I'll just playfully roast you a little since your being so oblivious to the rest of my post.

    So, you have a 50% repair speed and you should do generators if the killer camps the hatch. Your death timer doesn't decrease when you are repairing a generator and eventually you'll power on all generators if the killer keeps worrying about the hatch. You have so many opportunities to escape if the killer finds it first, do you need more opportunities to escape?

    P.S: I won't stop making threads that help killers become the power role that they are meant to be so just ignore my future threads!

    While your idea has merit, I prefer my solution:

    ", Since most survivors are determined to keep the hatch as a mechanic I propose we add a special timer/effect. The last survivor will be given a full minute to escape via hatch. After this timer expires the survivor's aura will be revealed and they will have the exposed status effect. Right before their aura is revealed the Entity will appear in the sky and "roar", as a notification for the survivor that they should get out ASAP.

    The goal here is to spice up the end game. By having their aura revealed and by being exposed survivors will experience fear disguised as tension. Those first 60 seconds after the 3rd survivor dies will greatly pressure whoever is left to leave. What are your thoughts on this?"

    The first point I'd like to make is that in my example the hatch is not closed. This gives the last survivor hope they can still escape. This is lore-friendly as the whole reason the killers kill is to extract hope for the Entity.

    The second point I'd like to make is the timer. Survivors have a full minute to find the hatch or rush a generator. At the highest level of play, matches can take five minutes to be completed. Giving the last person a full four minutes to escape is simply ludicrous. One minute is enough to either reach the hatch if you've already found it or get decent progress done on the search.

    My third point is the exposure and aura reveal. The survivor receives a definitive warning before they are revealed. Even after they are revealed they have a varying amount of time before the killer reaches them. After all, you only go down in one melee hit so you'll have to end the game quickly on your terms or win the last chase.

    Overall, the reason I like my idea more is that it's faster and more empowering for both sides. These two attributes are essential to an endgame mechanic fix.

    Survivor benefit - Hatch is always open, the hatch is easier to find if you've already discovered it. You can still bum-rush the hatch and escape with the killer there, you just need timing/positioning skills.

    Killer benefit - One initial last chance to try your hand at hunting. An almost guaranteed final chase where you can and will have a clear winner based on some skill. Also, the end won't take 10+ minutes waiting for some toxic fool to finally leave.

    why the repair speed boost?!?This isn't perfect, it's just a new way to buff survivors even more

    Actually, the repair speed helps the survivor reopen the hatch if the killer closes it and punish the killer for camping the hatch. Generators will take 40 seconds to be fully repaired with a 50% repair speed increase. This helps the survivor to attempt to power on a generator quickly without having much of a risk of being found by the killer during the repair. Trust me, this is way better than the current hatch situation.

    I don't think you understand why they are changing the hatch.
