Am I a camper?
So question. If I Chase someone and I down them, then I hook them, then I'm about 3 seconds worth of walking away when I see scractmarks(game map btw). Now this happens to me about 10 times this one match, and Everytime I followed the marks Back to the hook and I down another person. Am I a camper because I didn't let the guy get unhooked or should survivors wait until the killer leave?

Do you think you are a camper?

The better question is do you care what others think of you in this game?

If you’re on the map some teams call you a camper

Nah your not, but I would suggest growing a thick skin these are common occurrences by bad survivors.

The game will tell you if you’re a camper. You lose emblem points if you camp. There’s no discussion on this. If another survivor is near by it won’t deduct points.

Not even the game is good at that, i'm sorry but i'm not leaving this hook's side if all 2-3 of the remaining survivors are just darting in and out around it trying to save while i'm still trying to walk away.
It's not camping. It's common sense. I'm not going to walk to another area of the map that I know doesn't have any survivors.

If you see chicken scratches don't leave. Survivors shouldn't get a free pass just because they want someone off the hook.

If you see scratch marks accusations of camping are instantly void. Survivors need to learn to just wait 5 ######### seconds for the Killer to walk away

Play how you want and ignore what others say.
It's that easy

didnt even read your post . but yes

I’m not sure what you’re suggesting. If that’s happening the game doesn’t deduct points for being near the survivor. It won’t deduct points of survivors are near by. So I feel like what I said stills stands. The game will tell you if you hung around the hook too long.

But I have to leave if I want my Devour Hope to activate (if it wasn't cleansed in the first 30 secs of match)! The silence I get in chat after I write ggwp is so delicious!

I don't think that qualifies as camping. I've had plenty of survivor buddies who try and unhook me seconds after I'm hooked and it pisses me off, because they end up screwing me over. Camping is a more apt word when the killer hooks the survivor and then remains there...the whole time...just waiting....maybe look around....but never freaking leaves. That sucks!

Ahh there's no saltiness as tasty as a DH win.

I know, I love it! It’s so delicious! It’s best when I get them throwing themselves at me to take a hit for their teammate and I pull out their liver with Hag.
NOM NOM NOM NOM!

If you are be proud of it. If someone calls you a camper they are not happy, that means you done well. It's a killers job to make survivors unhappy.

Yeah no. If a survivor is risking an unhook so close to you and makes it obvious, then you have no reason to leave.

No, but it's lame if you go after the person who was just unhooked... assuming that player was unhooked to start with.
Also, depends on how the match is going for that one.

Don't let people bully you into thinking you're a bad thing. Do what seems to be the most logical play in the moment, sometimes it will be a good play, sometimes it won't be. If someone whines that you played unfair or whatever, either ignore them or ask them what the better play would have been. Chances are they won't even know.
