What if legion didn’t inflict deep would and instead just ran around super fast and vaulted

I think this would be pretty cool and would have strong chase potential but this would be “ frustrating “ so I have a list of tweaks to make this more fair

  1. make the cool down bar longer by a bit
  2. every hit needs to drain your power by a appropriate amount
  3. keep removed scratch marks
  4. make it so it still doesn’t count as a basic attack because this could be added to staus effects like sloppy and exposed
  5. punish missed attacks with a long fatigue giving survivors ample time to run away


i know this would never happen because the devs wants the legion to be a stabby stab stab killer but just a little cool idea

    This sounds like a nerf. You take away deep wounds, arguably a terrible effect, and nerf them even more. I am assuming that you still can't down a survivor with the power and if you hit someone again with the power it doesn't down them but kicks you out of your power otherwise that would be similar if not worse than how he was released. The stun on legion is already too long increasing it would make it insufferable. Whilst I'm not the biggest fan of deep wounds as its boring for survivors and doesn't feel like it has an impact as killer it's better than nothing

  • So basically what he already has with no deep wounds.

    I think it'd be reasonable to say that the power could down a survivor, similar to Pig's ambush.

    So no deep wounds and increase the cooldown on his power? Would it be safe to assume by super fast you want his running speed to increase from 130% to 140%?

    This sounds like a pretty big nerf.

    Wouldn't he then be able to down a survivor in a matter of seconds due to his basically null hit cooldown?

    Pig's ambush functions differently. She telegraphs the attack with the loud growl during the charge up of the attack. To begin this charge up attack she has to enter her sneak mode which slows her down significantly and whilst charging the attack she is stuck in place. Once she begins the attack she doesn't have as much control of her movement and survivors can still easily dodge the attack. This attack takes more skill to hit than Legion's frenzy which increases his speed to where survivors can barely outplay him and he still has normal control of his movement as well as the increased lunge distance thanks to the increased speed. Also legion recovers quicker after hitting a survivor in frenzy so he can be on top of them again in no time downing them insanely quick. Whilst I also want some changes for legion to make him more viable this would make legion incredibly overpowered/unfun and kind of boring.

    all the need to do is make it so mend restores you to perfect health

    only when you're hit traditionally do you require traditional healing.


    like purge. you're healed when u cleanse.

    Having to mend 7 times AND self heal in a match is a painful nuisance

    So.... Why would you ever chain to other survivors when you could get super fast downs?
