Do the Devs Hate Killers or Care about survivors fun more?
I found this and couldn't stop thinking about it. I understand that the devs have helped killers alot and I mean A LOT. Freddy Rework, Pallet Reduction, Bloodlust and Entity Blocker are all examples of the devs helping killers over the years and those are just a few.
Even with all of the examples i still can't forget how when the game started survivors had a god status and more or less never lost, the devs saw this and helped it.
But please don't get the wrong impression, when you hear that “this is the most balanced game a has ever been” this should not be something that should be celebrated. In the game's current state, survivors that are even decent can win a 1v1 in a 1v4 game, simply due to the insane gen speeds and number of pallets of decent or extreme safety.
This is not to mention that survivors' mistakes are not nearly as costly as killers. A survivor in a normal game is ensured a minimum of 3 mistakes with the 3 hook system, one hook counting as 2 takes the same amount of time as 80% of a generator. Even an average chase, which i would say is 40-60 seconds and at that speed 1-3 gens could be done in the time taken to pick up, hook a survivor and walk over to the gen in most cases.
With all of that said even if the devs don't hate killers as some people claim, they seem to favor or care more about the survivors fun than killers.
TLDR
Devs don't hate killers, they care about survivors fun more based on their decisions and this should be changed for the games health overall.
PLEASE DO NOT SIMPLY READ PART OF THIS AND CALL ME A SURVIVOR HATING KILLER MAIN, thanks.

They don't even give a ######### about survivors fun.
They only care about new players.

New Survivors*

New Survivors will have loads of fun playing Lobby Simulator.

I have seen the developers play killer and get trolled completely by survivors. Idk if that answers the question 😂😂😂

Don't new survivors have instant queues?

No one will run from this game faster than a new player who wants to play as a killer.

I play on PC and sometimes PS4. Killer queues are instant on both. Survivor queues are awful on PC and even worse on PS4.

Queue times change as you rank up silly

Well, the devs have said quite a few times that the answer to both of those questions is "no". Everything they do is something they believe to be in the best interests of the game and its entire playerbase. Whether they succeed in that is another question entirely - what I'm describing here is purely to do with their personal attitudes and intentions.
Of course, if someone doesn't believe that when the devs say it, they're certainly not going to believe it coming from me, but that is the answer according to the team themselves. Whether you take them at their word is up to you.

Devs only care about people in their immediate skill group, e.i brown ranks, at least the ones that play the game of course.

In my over ten years of playing online games and following different developers with their game, I have played with a few game devs and watched them stream and most of them felt competent enough that I would feel like I'm playing with regular people I would see online playing. You can they somewhat have a grasp of what the game is and how their vision can be aligned with what players want from them.
However I have never been more baffled than I have with following bhvr with how terrible they are at playing their own damn game, and how disconnected they are with their own playerbase at times. Its no wonder the game is a circus regardless of which side you're playing on.

The devs' focus lies on the new survivors' experience. That makes some sense from a financial point of view: New players have the potential to buy all the released DLCs + cosmetics, veterans already own them. And of course there are a lot more survivor mains than killer mains.
It's not about "hating killers", it's a business decision.

It's obvious they don't give a ######### about killers. They nerfed Ruin without fixing the underlying problems because "it wasn't fun to play against" but it's not fun to play against 4-man SWF with 4 DS, BT, DH, and Unbreakable but they do nothing about that. Sound bugs that can completely screw your game just go unfixed for months but as soon as there was a bug affecting decisive strike they fixed that ######### immediately. That's all the proof you need right there

Let's just say both
