All survivor meta perks need nerfed to the ground or deleted.
Ruin is gone now, there is no reason that DS and other meta perks should exist anymore. If killers have to suffer through gen rush then survivors should have to deal with tunneling and camping. Suck it up survivor you got caught. Enough with the 2nd chance perks. Make this game actually fun again instead of a survivor playground.

I'm sure killers will have fun in lobby simulator, followed by tunnel simulator.
Broken record: Ruin wasn't required nor was it effective against great survivors.
How to counter DS: Don't grab the unhooked survivor for 60 seconds if you want to avoid the stun, otherwise eat the stun as fast as possible to resume tunneling with ease.
How to counter BT: Don't hit the unhooked survivor for 15 seconds. After that, hit em and hook em so you can continue camping.
How to counter Dead Hard: Don't be a potato and swing at invincible survivors.
How to counter Unbreakable: hook survivors
How to counter Adrenaline: Noed I guess?
How to counter Iron Will: Infectious Fright and Stridor

I mean, ruin was nerfed because it was "overused" because when they see a bandaid being used, it's obviously a bad band-aid and not being used to cover up a percieved problem.
So by Dev logic, these survivor perks that are used a ton also need nerfed, right? :P
Like, seriously, these devs seem all over the place. At this point imo the one big fix is to give all survivors coms at base then you can work on balance, as right now they are trying to balance around SWF come squads and solos, who are on such different levels it's just not gonna happen.

No. They just need some slight reworks. And by they, I mean DS. Deactivate it upon working towards the objective or performing Altruistic actions. Done.
Dead Hard is fine.
Unpopular opinion but Adrenaline is fine.
BT is fine-ish. It's only problematic when someone unhooks in your face before you can even leave. But I have no idea how they can fix that.

Because of David King's other perk, No Mither, ot make sure you are not just one shot, you have dead hard, but everyone just runs it without No Mither so its a perk that is kinda too strong. its original intend make sense, but they way its used now does not.

What would you suggest if they were to be reworked?
PS: its a PVP game so alot of things that work against you won't be fun. Survivors hate NOED but its fine as it is. Same goes for Insidious, Nurse's Calling, Pop, BBQ, etc.

Okay.. i dont want to start another discussion about killer vs survivor and gentime... all i say is, that i dont have any problems with gentime and i get my 4ks most of the time. Just please stop complaining about this, and try to get better at the game. No offense :(
First of all, no! Survivor Meta perks dont have to go, some might need some adjustments, but thats it.
Second, and this is the most important part for you: simply run this perk constellation and you wont have any stress winning most of your games on red ranks:
- Corrupt Intervention
- Pop goes the weasle
- Safe the best for last
- Any tracking perk like BBQ, Discordance, Thrilling Tremors.
GG wp, be friendly when you slaughter those scruby survivors.

Healing perks and items can be nerfed. Survivors have no trouble to tank any amount of damage. IMO, only helping each other should allow fast healing. Then fast healing would require survivors at least to co-op. Items shouldnt be stronger than co-op actions.
Toolboxes, obviously, shouldnt speed up repairs after Ruin nerf. They must be completely changed. Repair speed boost should be removed. Toolboxes should only decrease failed skill check penalty (help noobs) or give bp bonus for hitting great skill checks.
DS need a tweak. If survivor do anything but healing onself or running away from killer, DS deactivate. BT could use a tweak, too, because survivors run behind killer and instantly unhook. There is no counter to it when 2 survivors do it. BT should have activation delay of 3s. If I camp, ok, you can use BT, if I dont camp, get punished for unhooking in my face.

Decisive strike - hit the killer causing them to wail in pain and revealing the killer aura to other survivors for 4 seconds. No longer free escape.
Borrowed time - takes you longer to die on hook. You can struggle for 10 more seconds. Boosts struggle points by 100%
Unbreakable - cannot bleed to death and reveals hatch location when downed if it is open. After 10 mins down your aura is revealed to killer
Adrenaline - when gens are done you can heal 100% faster
Dead hard - add more cooldown so no one wants to use it
That brings the perks in line with all the other garbage in the game.

Yeah, I pretty much agree with all this, although I still think adrenaline having a special effect that only makes sense with a single killer to be...odd. Its not as bad now though since Freddy's rework as it use to be.

That's true. Back in Freddy's F-tier days, this would be problematic on a huge scale. Now it doesn't really matter if it wakes you up. I wouldn't shed tears if they removed that.

Feel like BT isnt too big of a deal since in cases like you described, you can still trade hooks with whoever is being dumb. Typically you could hit them before the unhook, and then again immediately after. At the same time, while the BT timer is long enough to allow the survivor to run to a pallet, its not SO long that they can get anything done object wise, like cleanse a totem.
The part I hate is when a survivor goes for a dumb BT save like described, but due to the rescuer having an active DS, I cant trade...but thats a DS issue and not BT.

That use to be the reason I brought NOED on old Freddy, so I stood a chance at the endgame. Currently... it still sucks but at least I can hit ppl. It just makes me at least a M1 killer with no power (not asleep and no gen teleports...)

DS sounds awful.
Your Unbreakable is ok if it were another perk. There needs to be at least one counter to slugging. Unbreakable has never cost me a game before.
Adrenaline would be ok but I still think it's fine as is.

Dead Hard is balanced. Assume everyone has Dead Hard and bait the swing.
A nerf shouldn't make perks dogshit. It should fix it from being in a broken spot to a balanced one.

For me, was Monitor, NOED, BBQ and whispers. Addons of choice were nancy's masterpiece with class photo. Having a 16 meter TR while outside of chase and being able to see the auras of ppl outside that TR was nice, while class photo allowed me to constantly keep ppl asleep and suffering from the 50% slowdown. I never liked bothering with hex perks on him since he couldnt defend totems like AT ALL.

Imo bt is an issue if the killer hooked someone and there was another surv ready to unhook without giving the killer time to leave. So in this case lets make the perk activatable.
When you are 32 meters further away from the hook BT activates. While the perk is active, rescuing someone from the hook gives the unhooked survivor endurence status for 15/20/25 seconds. Each hook event resets the perk and each unhook made by the user deactivates the perk until the killer hooks someone else.
With this chage if there are multiple people on hooks you have to decide who needs the status more. Also now it won't be tied to TR and will work the same against all killers so stealth/freddy won't make the perk useless when they really camp.

survivors already had to suffer from tunneling and camoing way longer. and they still suffer, cause the perks arent even that helpful, which is a fact. so stop being whiny, if you dont have any logic behind your talking.

Those aren't counters, those are at best mitigations, and ignores combinations of those perks that make them impossible to do anything about, such as unbreakable+DS.

I think he has a point. There's nothing worse for the killer, than him playing sloppy and being punished for it. Can you imagine what would happen to a survivor that dead hards at the wrong time? Obviously, that poor injured soul isn't going down in the next 3 seconds. Or if they get mind gamed at a loop and bump into the killer? There's no way he would be injured or downed. Or if survivors just ran around the map all game, it's not like the killer would be able to track them or anything. So seriously, because survivors suffer absolutely no consequences at all for playing sloppy, neither should killers.

I agree except with everything except DS. It should deactivate if fully healed. If they had time to heal then they weren’t being tunneled. Not the killers fault that they stayed at the hook when rescued.

I really don't think meta perks need to be deleted but nerfed so other perks are useable. You know why they nerfed Ruin? So more perks can be used and it gets killers to go aggressive. Plus ruin aint that bad as everyone says it is if you just do your job and chase people. I do think we need a nerf DS but besides that its fine

Unbreakable and Borrowed time are fine as is. They are the only tools survivors have to combat slugging and face camping, and if the killers chooses not to go with those tactics, they are wasted perk slots for survivors.
DS nerf you suggested would be fine if it also stunned the killer for those 5 seconds, giving survivors more time to wiggle.
