Are the queue times as bad and off on PC as they are on PS4?
I've just came back from a long break and I just feel like the matchmaking and queue's are so bizarre. I know things change as you rank up,but I've stayed pretty much around the 15 mark the whole time.
Before a patch the other day(not saying it did anything,just giving an idea of time frame),the queue times for both killer and survivor were upwards of ten minutes. The day after the patch, survivor was around three minutes and killer was near instant.
Now yesterday and today, survivor is near instant,and I waited almost half an hour on one occasion and still didn't get a killer match. I just don't quite understand the fluctuations. Then it puts high greens against rank 20 killers with one perk on. Idk.
I know there are tons of issues in the community,but being able to get into the game in a reasonable amount of time seems like a priority, even above skill based rankings. At this point waiting 10 minutes plus just to have people DC isn't much fun.

You didn't ask about Xbox, but I'm just gonna comment it, as rank 1 killer and surv I get 30- secs wait as killer and 5+ mins wait as survivor

I appreciate that. I'm sure there's some differences between consoles and peak hours and such,but it seems so hit or miss. I've played every day the past two weeks,all different times of the day,and it just seems like you never know what you'll get.

So maybe it is console specific. That's why I was curious. I survivor main,but switched to killer to do some challenges and get away from the waits,and now killer queue is just insane the past few days. I guess it could be user base,but they gave the game away on PS4 awhile back. I mean,at least it's not dead.

20 secs rank 15 killer (tho it is against red 4 mans)

A minute at best for ques as Killer (pretty much almost any rank).
5-8 minute que for Survivor (purple ranks).

It would have to be low amounts of players at a specific time, because it is instant on certain occasions. It seems like either one or the other is a few second wait,or one or both take forever lol. It's usually survivor that's long,which I found odd that killer was taking so long. I just waited another 20 mins and gave up. It's not like I'm seeing the same people over an over either.

This is how long i wait on avarage.
PC (middle europe region, rank 1)
Solo Survivor: 2 minutes
Group: 3-4 minutes
Killer: 30 seconds

I guess it could be region too. That's about what I was seeing the other day. Now survivor is literally instant and can't get a killer match for a ridiculous amount of time. Been like that since Friday.

I appreciate the responses. Was just making me wonder. There's so many variables,it seems. Would just be nice if it was a consistent reasonable amount of time like some others are seeing. I almost wonder if it's a case of too many players. I've seen that in other games.
Just odd that it's usually killer with no wait and now it's switched. I know some people were fed up with changes and issues that made for a lower killer base. Not sure what to expect at higher ranks,so I've sorta not tried too hard to get any higher.
Might go back to PC when I can get a new card and a small repair. Been enjoying my return to the game for the most part. The constant DCs after a long wait don't make me happy though. I swear 60% of matches at least one DCs...if the match even starts at all because of a disconnect.
