Snap out of it overrides mending
I’ve gotten in a match recently where i couldn’t get rid of the deepwound effect because i was in madness tier 3 and had to snap out of it first.
does anyone else have this problem because that was pretty annoying to go against

This is how madness tier 3 works in a nutshell:
Most other non snap out of it actions and item uses are disabled until you finish snap out of it.
This includes healing action which deep wound's mend action is.
This is fair as he cannot normally apply deep wounds meaning if you go down to it its entirely on the survivor's team for even letting deep wounds be applied that game.

It's supposed to do that. It's done this since Deep Wound's inclusion. Doctor is one of the two Killers (the other being Freddy) who can get something out of Deep Wound, and it should stay that way. If you go down, then it's because you or your team let it happen.

Always found that dumb but eh it's against one killer

Downing people with Deep Wounds is usually seen as an exploit. Freddy can't do it anymore btw.

At least with base snap out of it time you have time to snap out of it before you go down, and if you keep sprinting your DW will never go down in the first place. Dunno about how it works with addon that slows down snapping out of it, or lower levels of Borrowed Time.
Wouldn't be surprised if it's changed simply because "guaranteed downs" via DW of any kind has been something the devs clearly never want to be in the game again ever since the first Legion rework.

It's by design. Mending is an action. Madness tier 3 makes you unable to do actions. Better run and find a team mate, lol

I doubt they will as the doctor can't apply deep wounds meaning its entirely your own fault(Using the purple endurence addon for medkits) or your teammate's fault.
But its never the doctors.

I'm so silly, I let myself go down in front of a survivor when I could've let her mend me. 😂
I totally forgot other survivors can mend me, whoops!

As someone who started playing doctor for the new Tome this is so helpful at red ranks to counter borrowed time.

Could you not just bodyblock the Survivor before DW has a chance to activate?
Also how is this an exploit if it’s the Survivors’ fault for letting DW activate? It’s either them using a Styptic Agent or teammates failing to bodyblock. It’s not like Doctor can apply Deep Wound himself. It’s always the Survivors in this case.
When did Freddy get changed? The last changes I remember to him were rope add-on nerfs.

That's the purpose of T3 Madness, it's suppose to stop your from doing any actions besides unhooking and healing teammates (I think)

It's not your fault if the Doctor deliberately avoids you to hit that person. You can only body block so much. I'd argue it should change for the sake of consistency.

By the time Doctor gets around the bodyblock, there should be some gen progress made by the other Survivors. You can also Mend the other Survivor yourself and then they can Snap Out of It. It also doesn’t cover a Survivor using a Styptic Agent. That’s 100% on them.
I think snapping out of it taking priority over mending is fine because that’s what Doctor’s power is supposed to do. It locks you out of every action (minus the ones that could allow you to hold the game hostage). Deep Wound becomes an actual threat against Doctor and not just an extra visual effect. More Killers should be able to use DW to their advantage. Doctor is just the beginning.
