What is your favorite perk?
First of all this is my 200th discussion so let me celebrate it if I may:
Yeeiiiii πππππππ
Onto the topic. What is your favorite perk for both survivor and killer and why?
For me: spine chill and Franklin's demise.
Spine chill has saved my lil Ash so many times, especially when I started playing the game. S tier for me
Franklin's demise is just a really annoying perk to go against and slows down the game. If I see 4 items in the lobby then they bet they gonna have a bad time finding them :3
What about you? Let me know down below!!!!!!!
Hope to see you on the fog!!!

iron will. easier to evade the killer when i'm injured and also very useful in chases.
with killer i just gotta say barbeque&chili because the bloodpoints are always needed and the auras are a great bonus to it, absolutely love the perk.

Loving Auto Didact recently, its just very satisfying to build up the stacks, especially if you get 3 out of a single heal, and then when you have 5 oooofff its so good.
For killer, well....im a sucker for shadowborn tbh.

I would have said spine chill, but let's say calm spirit instead. It straight up counters spies from the shadows, infectious fright, the entirety of the doctor, and half of Freddy and clown. Plus I use crows to track the killer and survivors, so it's nice to know that they aren't giving me away.
As far as killer perks, surveillance is easily my favorite. It gives up to the second intel on survivor locations from any range, but most importantly, the extra range you can hear the gen from makes the game so much easier. That doesn't even account for it's hot new synergy with ruin, which I used to pass on for most of my killers but now Billy is basically the only one not running ruin.

This is tough, because I don't like to use the same exact perks on everyone. I like some diversity.....
however, when grinding a new surv and looking for those sweet perks, seeing stakeout in my bloodweb always puts a smile on my face. It's become one of my most used perks. For killer STBFL is almost always a go to when I don't know what to put in my fourth slot

I usually do quite a bit of variety when playing. However the ones i would probably pick is Shadowborn. It makes me go zoooom. (I like running Third Seal and Noed too depending on my mood)
And as survivor its definitely Iron Will. As a stealth player this is kinda a must for my playstyle to work as I love to hide mid chase and houdini my way out. (Calm spirit compliments that playstyle too)

Hex: Devour Hope.

Right now, as a survivor, it would be Resilience. I can't count how many times my injured butt was saved when I was able to open the exit gates 9% faster...lol
As a killer, I think Nurses is still top tier. The amount of info I get from it is hard to beat and it's unlikely that injured players are not going to heal during the match.

Spine chill and bbq.

Hex: Devour Hope.
It is the most rewarding perk in the game when it doesnβt get cleansed within 30 seconds of the match. I love the panic that ensues when I start one hitting over confident people who are trying to take a hit for their teammates. Even more delicious if I could kill them.
I donβt think anything Iβve played with on Survivor is as enjoyable, but then again, I play stealthily so I donβt really use that many perks.

My favorite killer perk is BBQ and Chili because the aura reading and blood points are just so nice.
But as a Jeff main I've always liked Aftercare seeing all my teammates not doing anything or i can go heal them. I also like applying ti to everyone as i like playing altruistically and healing everyone.

bbq - I'm a bloodpoint #########

Survivor: Kindred. I play solo survivor and this is the perfect aura reading perk for me.
Killer: BBQ. Bloodpoints and aura reading after a hook so I know what to do right after. Runner up would be Whispers. I just love the information it provides, and on certain killers I feel naked without it.

Empathy for all the info it gives.
Iron Grasp I'mΒ always downing survivorsΒ while carrying another to a hook. Ppl always undersestimate the strength of it.

Definitely Dark Devotion. I bought this game to spook survivors. I live for the spook.
When I see that black shadow envelope my screen, I drop everything I'm doing and go in for the spook.

Survivor - Autodidact. It gives me a little goal each game with massive payout, and it hard counters any healing slowdown perks.
Killer - Fire Up. Even though I really want it to be 5% per token instead of 4%, it's one of my favorite perks when paired with Brutal Strength and/or Bamboozle. Pairing it with Bamboozle makes windows much less of an issue, including amazing windows like the Ironworks one to bad windows like TL walls. Pairing it with Brutal Strength makes pallets much more dangerous for survivors, and if you can zone one even a little, you get an easy hit. It's not really worth running without BS or Bamboozle though, but it would be if it was 5% per token (please devs I really want that)

There's a lot of perks I like, but if I had to choose...
Aftercare on survivor. The full map aura reading is God sent, provided you don't get hooked again right away. Makes it easy to see where everyone is, what everyone's doing, if someone's being chased it's super obvious cause you can see them running in circles and vaulting. And the best part is seeing their bodies being carried around and bouncing!
It's a toss between Spies from the Shadows and Devour Hope on killer.
Devour Hope just because it's so great getting to 3 stacks and then everything stops progressing because everyone's searching for the totem, and then you start killing them. You actually have to work for the reward. Best game I had with that was doing a Bubba daily to mori someone.. got to 5 stacks before I downed someone with exposed.. so they found out I had Devour Hope at the same time I went for the first mori.
Spies from the Shadows is so good to find people and in chases, too, especially in Lery's.. so many crows on that map, it makes it easy to chase people through walls! Sad thing is, lots of maps have barely any crows on them, the Autohaven ones in particular..
