Delay before I can start an action.

There is a delay whenever I want to start an action, such as when I run up to a gen or a person to heal them etc. I have to wait for the action icon to pop up. It’s not long but it’s noticeable.

I end up prematurely hitting the button before the game is ready then the prompt comes up and I have to release the button and then rehit the button, it can be quite annoying.

Is this a universal problem or am I doing something wrong?

I play on xbox.

Thanks

Could be the delay between you and the killers connection

I suffer with the same issue, and it's on any connection. Green, Yellow, Red, doesn't matter. You literally have to wait about a second before the prompt shows up. I've had so many downs because a pallet drops too late, or a window vault doesn't register instantly. Could just be an Xbox thing but it really is the most agitating thing.

i know it's standard stuff but have you looked into your network at all? any issues in other games? forwarded ports? have you tried redownloading the game on your platform of choice to make sure your install isn't corrupted somehow?

It's your connection to the killer.
