High rank survivor mains is face camping really a problem.
(This question is meant for red rank survivors and is excluding tactics like proxy camping,or after the exit gate is open.) I’ve always wondered if face was a real thing in red ranks because when I see people complain it always seems like low rank survivors complaining about baby killers

Sometimes, although when it does happens, I just call them out as campers and such.
It's not a problem, usually because it's their fault that they don't drop chases and pressure gens.

It's not. It's highly over exaggerated in how often it happens.
Proximity camp is every now and then, but those are savable even without BT or DS.

Not really. Killers that do that usually don't stay in red ranks long. I might get one a day? And they are usually a steamer dedicated to such tactics or something lol.

High rank killers don't face camp, but the green and yellow ranks I get matched up with do. The sad thing is, when we rush gens and get out fast that is their justification for doing it again next game. Some people just don't want to try.

I have seen more facecampers after the ruin nerf. But even then it's maybe 1/20 Matches.

The only true facecamping I see as a red ranked survivor is when the gates are powered and the killer knows they've lost, and really only have that last objective to defend.
Will say it happens a lot more after the ruin nerf though, especially if it was a sub 5 minute game.

Not at all. It is completely exaggerated. Not saying it never happens, but not enough to complain about it the way some do.

Sure they do, usually when you run them too long. I had a rank 1 legacy streamer I was running around say "I can't wait to facecamp this guy" after I ran him for like 3 gens, and eventually he downed me and did just that with the hillbilly.
About a week later, I facecamped him to death with bubba. And on the stream he was just like "THIS GAMEPLAY IS SO EXCITING"

Literal face camping is pretty rare. Though it happens on an occasion.

The only times I see facecampers is when the killer is usually pretty bad in a match. And that's no offence to anyone who struggles against skilled players, but most facecampers I've encountered at the ones easily outmanovered in loops, or ones who struggle to get a single down so they resort to forcing at least 1 survivor down and camping them for the kill. Usually works, but then you also get the altruistic idiots who unhook and down themselves, causing a chain reaction for the rest to follow. If I see a killer camp with Kindred active, I'm sticking on Gens.

Yeah I dont notice a lot of facecampers. I see a lot of tunneling, which I hate, but I understand the reason behind it.
For us it's pretty simple. We win chases and we get at least 3 out. We lose chases fast, and it may be 2 escape or less even.

No, because when high ranks get face camped, the other 3 get all the gens done.
So either it doesnt happen because the killer isnt that stupid, or if they are it gets punished very quickly.
And then the BT save at the end because ######### face camping.

I think ive only seen bad killers face camp. Most good killers understand its better use of your time to hook then find someone else.
Good survivors capitalise on face camping and complete all the gens.
