Intro & Previous Discussion Ideas
Hello everyone, I'm the Milk Man and welcome to my third discussion in my If I made series. Today we're talking about the legion, but before that we're going to be talking about the ideas that were in my previous post If I made: The Ghostface.
"If I wanted to change GF completely, it'd involve phones." Followed by "While survivors let it go to voicemail they are oblivious and the killer can hear the voicemail within 16m or they can answer the phone and scream and become exposed. GF himself has connection bars over each survivor icon that have a stronger connection the closer he gets. GF also can call survivors by selecting their username on his phone, 45 sec cooldown would be balanced I would say. This would match GF's lore of isolating victims and terrifying them."
This could be a great way to use his power without falling into the Myers 2.0 concept that I see people talk about.
"This would work really well with his character. It could be linked to his Night Shroud power. Every 60 seconds he could activate it, causing a random survivor to be revealed for X seconds within a certain distance of him while he's shrouded." which is connected to "If I wanted to change GF completely, it'd involve phones."
This is also a great way of working with his power! If you haven't read it, my idea was to change his power to seeing survivors through walls basically. This makes it even less related to the Shape and is a very welcome idea, thank you Waffleyumboy and Mikeasaurus for the ideas!
We Are The Legion (Power): Teleportation
Similarly to my Ghostface post, I'm planing on changing this entirely. I'm sort of stuck between two ideas so I'll tell you both of them.
Idea 1: The legion have 3 masks put around the map, they spawn in random places at the beginning of the trial. Going up to a mask allows the legion to use M2, LT, or L2 to pick the mask up. Once picked up, the mask can be set similarly to traps. Placing one down takes .4 Seconds. The legion can teleport to these masks (Lore Reason: The Legion member leaves so another can replace them). When the Legion teleports, they leave a mask where they were. Once they teleport, they must wait 40 seconds before they can do it again. (I was skeptical about this one because it felt like a more odd hag).
Idea 2: The legion can teleport to closets
We Are The Legion: Enigmatic Sprint
After teleporting, they break out into an Enigmatic sprint and move faster and can vault pallets. This sprint lasts 14.5 Seconds. Once the legion hits a survivor the sprint ends. If the survivor is healthy and gets hit while the legion is in enigmatic sprint, they become injured and suffer the deep wound and hemorrhage status effects. If a survivor is injured and is hit while the legion is in enigmatic sprint, the survivor falls into the dying state. You can miss 2 hits while in enigmatic sprint, after missing a third hit you exit the sprint and 5 seconds is added to the reset timer for your teleportation. (This one I'm also feeling skeptical about. I don't know why, I just am.)
We are The Legion: Masks
Each mask you can teleport to has a different ability. You can see which mask you're teleporting to by looking at it. The mask the member wears will be floating over the teleport site and can be seen by you through walls.
Masks: Frank
Frank is eager to stab, making his lust for blood seem more intense in comparison to the other members of the legion. Frank has a shorter weapon cleaning animation while We Are the Legion is on cooldown.
Masks: Julie
An avid follower of the entity, Julie will do anything to gain it's alliance. Every hit on a survivor while We Are the Legion is on cooldown decreases the cooldown by 2 seconds.
Masks: Joey
Finding the sport of hunting down his prey joyful, Joey will catch his prey no matter what. Joey can see the blood left by survivors more clearly.
Masks: Susie
Susie is keen on killing for Franks sake. Susie moves a bit faster than the rest of the legion while We Are the Legion is on cooldown.
The Terror Radius
The legions terror radius fits sorta well. I'd shorten it to 30 meters, it's a small change but they're small killers. Also change it to 10 meters when you play as Susie lol.
The Speed
The Legion gets enough speed when they sprint, I might increase it by a few m/s but I feel with this new power they'll work well with their speed and new found map pressure.
Final Thoughts
These changes will give the legion the map pressure that all killers need nowadays and a true threat. I wanna take this time to say that legion is NOT in a good place right now. Even if my bad idea for the legion barely works, I feel it'd work better than current legion. They have little to no map pressure, deep wound doesn't do much and was sorta a band-aid fix for the Nemesis + Legion combo. I know that legion in the past was broken and not fun for survivor, but currently not even I'm having fun with them. Behavior please change the legion and make them more viable. Anyway, thank you all for reading. If you haven't already, I have a few other characters I've changed if you wanna read them. I'm gonna try to do this to every killer and every survivor (changing their perks). Leave me some criticism down bellow and don't forget to tell me what kill I should do next. I like idea 1, maybe there is some way to give each Legion member a unique twist to their power? Also, I would like Legion's sprint to remain on-demand so that they aren't an m1 killer for 54.5 seconds after teleporting. I'll have more ideas for ya soon.

I was thinking about that...like if one legion member was good at detection, one good at chase, one good at stealth, and maybe one good at securing downs?

Ngl I was really hoping the Enigmatic Sprint would be on-demand and the masks would change how it works. Here are my ideas but yours aren't all that bad:
Frank: Vaulting pallets in Enigmatic Sprint immediately breaks them, moves 10% faster than other members during ES but has 1 sec reduced duration and increased cooldown.
Julie: Hitting a survivor during ES shows you the location of all other survivors in KI for 15 seconds
Joey: Blood trails are highlighted during ES, dowing a survivor using ES decreases We Are The Legion's cooldown by 10 seconds and gives that survivor Mangled until they fully heal.
Susie: You have no TR in ES, move 10% slower in ES, but have 10.5 sec increased ES duration and 1 sec reduced ES cooldown.
Just some ideas I thought would be cool.

I don't think the masks idea works. The members of Legion are depicted as flesh and blood. Removing that boils them down into caricatures (despite already just being skins).
Edit: missed everything else about teleporting. Still, playing musical chairs doesn't sound fun.
Editedit: Teleporting is disorienting as well. Hag and Freddy you need to quickly assess the situation. I'd rather the opposite effect, a localized pressure which he already sorta does currently.
Legions original concept was 3 markers after the first stab representing the other 3 members calling out survivor locations, and 4 stabs representing the crew initiation. Then they nerfed the stabs (because honestly who likes being tunneled to DEATH by someone's power? Oink.) Nothing they do now says anything about being numerous, other than the headaches Legion causes.
If they do anything significant with their power, it would be spawning in multiple killers that would continue chasing injured survivors. It would fill in the whole dropped pressure issue he has from pinballing and would be a lot more chaotic. Yeah, I'm asking for bots.

The bots would need to stab you 3 times. Also despawns when Legions power ends.
Edit: Stabs gets saved and each stab spawns in a different member. You get stabbed by everyone once, it's an insta-down.
