The Pig - Why isn’t Amanda a playable survivor?
In the Saw series Amanda was apart of the games and she survived..
Would anyone else love to see Amanda Young as a survivor as well?

Yes, she survived, but she then went on to backstab the victims in Saw II since she was working undercover for Jigsaw, so having her as a survivor would essentially be allowing a secret killer onto the team. Which, wouldn't be a terrible idea. It would certainly spice up the game a little!

Yes, she survives her Game in the first Saw... then goes on to become one of Jigsaw's disciples. One who makes a deliberate point of making her games unwinnable, dooming whoever's in them even more than Kramer or Hoffman.
She was an active killer well before the Entity got its mandibles on her.

After surviving her game, she was mentored by Jigsaw to take over after he dies. She rigged her games, though, and killed people who should have lived.

She was John Kramers apprentice after surviving. After that he "tested" her again in saw 3 due to her games being unwinnable because she left her subjects no chance to survive them, giving them false hope.

I guess I was just saying it would be cool to have the option. Same as Sidney Campbell. I was really hoping for her.

While an interesting idea she was a pretty evil person. The survivors aren't. Add to that how weird it would be for her to be killing herself and you have your answer.

But yeah, Amanda or not, it would be nice to have a future Chapter have both the killer and survivor being alternate versions of the same character. I half expected the Yamaoka chapter to have Rin as the survivor

No. The Pig is such a weak killer, she wouldn't be able to hang with the power that is survivors.

I still want Rin's dad and a Leatherface mask type collectible for Rin you get for killing him a certain number of times.

Would be interesting to have a traitor among the survivors. Similar to Assassin Games or Salems.
I wish Leatherface would get one for each new survivor. Would if been amazing.

It would be even better if the character could play either side to blend in.
Then again gens get done in 0.6 seconds these days so they'd just have to appear to be doing the gen

I don't see any actual reason Amanda couldn't take on a role as a survivor... the entity is known for pulling people from random times, places, etc. So it could pull Amanda from Saw 1 especially since Laurie and Michael seem to have been taken from the original Halloween, long before Laurie became the hardened survivor fans know her for and Michael the cold, pure evil being he is. Plus, doesn't the entity torture it's killers? Wouldn't throwing them into the role of a survivor having to run from a killer add to that? Plus the thought of having to run from yourself as they try to kill you makes for an interesting idea... just my thoughts... feel free to poke as many holes in it as any of you like. I'd also like to add, every other licensed set (the survivor and killer) have been taken from the same movie (laurie and michael: halloween 1, freddy and quentin: nightmare reboot) but Det. Tapp was taken from Saw 1 since he died in it, while Amanda was taken from Saw 3. It wouldve made more sense to go with pighead from the game since he was actually trying to kill Tapp.
